I've written nasty reviews and nice ones. I prefer the nice ones. Crown Glass deserve a nice review because they did an excellent job fixing my Toyota Sequoia windshield after it was smashed by a rock from a passing double tandem gravel truck.

I dropped by Crown Glass, Mahir (sp?) the proprietor was very nice, very engaging. Music playing in the shop, staff were casual, friendly, said hello, all very genuine. I made an appointment for the very next day, dropped it off. They said two hours to fix, it was two hours. Super easy. Though I don't wish to replace another windshield, if I had to I would definitely go there again.

Worst possible place to have your glass fixed the owner being so arrogant never leave your car there unattended or u will come to find out u have a new parking ticket poor quality and don't even think about any other Glass work he hires inexperienced people and lets them learn on your money and property

We unfortunately had tree branches fall on our windshield requiring a replacement. I called Crown Glass and they fit me in that day, replacing the windshield within 2 hours. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The all around experience and ease of booking was fantastic. I would recommend Crown Glass to anyone.

Over the weekend I returned to my vehicle to find that I had been broken into, a smash and grab situation. Given we live in Raincouver, i needed my window replaced asap! I called Speedy only to find that it would be a two day wait and a 3h process. Crown took my call late morning, had me in early afternoon the same day, and my window was replaced/fixed in under an hour! The service was friendly, informative, and I would recommend them to anyone!!

*I would add that my sister 'n law had a similar experience (with a smash and grab) just weeks prior and the team at Crown provided the same outstanding level of service.

I don't often write reviews on google, but the experience was so good that I had to make a point of sharing. Keep it up as I'll be referring your services!!

I don't understand why this store has such a bad rating on google. I never really buy into google reviews as it seems most people come here to complain and they don't bother when the experience is good. Everyone in my family has had a good experience here. We have had multiple windshields replaced with no issue. I have come in with a chip in my windshield to have it assessed and they were honest and straight forward. No hard sell tactics I was told the chip was superficial and I was sent on my way without having to pay a dime. All in all an honest and friendly experience.

RECOMMENDED.

I had used them before and when searching for address I was surprised that the average review was so low. A few years back they replaced my broken side window quickly.

Recently I had a problem with an electric window not opening, and a broken wing mirror. Took the car in, they said they could fix them both in a couple of hours and they pointed out a chip in my windscreen. Small extra charge to do this. Came back in two hours and all was fixed (just glass replaced for wing mirror) and everything is working fine a month later.

Total fee was as originally quoted, and seemed reasonable.

My one slight criticism (reason for 4 not 5 stars) is that I needed to claim the broken wing mirror on insurance and the agent didn't seem keen on finding the phone number to phone ICBC to get my claim number, and said I could just send in the receipt to ICBC, which is probably true.

Overall, they definitely deserve a better rating than shows for the average here. Seems that a competitor may have been trying to damage them with bad reviews - a problem when people can post anonymously!

Folks here are great, very friendly and super helpful. My car got broken into and they were able to help me right away. Dropped off car in the morning, picked up in the afternoon. Definitely recommend this shop for all glassware needs, I also got a custom made thick glass for my dining table, being a good Jew that I am, I've researched prices all around town at all shops, this was not only the most reasonably priced, also the quickest and friendliest. :)
