  A wondeful park for those who enjoy lakefront walks. No beach to speak of, but the spit sticks well into the lake giving a breathtaking view of downtown.

  Lots to do here in the winter, skating, sledding, walking and runny trails by the lake and a nice off-leash park for the dogs.

  Stop skating in circles. Regular ice rinks can get boring fast. Samuel Smith Ice Trail is 250 meters of icy freedom. Open 7am-10pm.
