Very good food but a bit pricey. That being said, if you can afford it, great place for the family or dining alone. Service is first rate and are pretty terrific.
The chef, Debbie, is phenomenal! I've never had a bad experience here, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is cozy and quiet.
We went in on a Saturday morning. It was quiet, but that meant that Chef Debbie was extra friendly and helpful. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich (one of the best breakfast sammies I've ever had!) and my partner had a traditional breakfast. Ever was wonderful including the excellent coffee!
The chef is friendly and skilled, with several awards for things like "best cafe cook in Canada 2013". Her menu is unique but there are still classics like cheesecake and beef dips. Her staff is well trained and efficient.
A cool little place with a cozy vintage atmosphere! Stopped through on a road trip so I couldn't sit in which was a bummer. The lady as the till must have been really out of it because she forgot to give me half of my order and I'm also at fault for not noticing 2 hours later.
