Fishing for large Northern Pike has alway been on my bucket list. My Sons treated me to a week at Cobham River Lodge for my birthday gift. This fishery did not disappoint, multiple Master Angler Pike over 41 inches, and 25 over 36 inches in a week of fishing. While we were focussing on Pike, it was apparent that the Walleye fishery is off the charts. If you are looking to catch walleye, you will be amazednothing to catch 100 Walleye in a days fishing at Cobham. We were treated like family by the Hebels which just capped off a perfect fishing experience. Looking forward to returning

Stayed at Hidden Lake and the experience was awesome! Plentiful walleye and northerns - even caught a few perch. Saw a moose, multiple bald eagles and having the entire lake to ourselves was awesome! Boats and motors worked well. The cabin’s generator was loud but came in handy. My buddies and I are already planning our next trip up!

Exceptional value in a full-service, fly-in fishing lodge. Most important, the size and numbers of fish we caught were outstanding. Two Manitoba Master Angler pike and many in the 32" - 40" range. Too many axe- and hammer-handles to count. Loads of walleye for shore lunches.
The staff, including the lodge personnel and the fishing guides (optional), are warm, welcoming, good at what they do and are a pleasure to engage with.
Accommodations are clean and comfortable. Boats and motors perform flawlessly and are well-suited for handling the extensive range of bays and river sections that comprise the Cobham River system.
Worth the extra $ to fly from St. Andrews airport.
Will definitely be returning to Cobham River Lodge.

2020 was a tough year fro Manitoba lodges. I have fished there for 38 straight years and fished 16 lodges. We booked Cobham in the fall and paid a $2700 deposit.
When the Canadian government canceled the season they were the only lodge, out of 12 contacted, that did not either return the deposit or credit it to 2021. So as a retired old man I was fishing with my son ( a government cyber security) and his friend who is a helicopter EMT.
We are out $2700 and I do not have many more opportunities to fish with my son.
I think the Canadian government should investigate them.

Excellent fishing/getaway/service. We had superb full service in the lodge by an outstanding staff. Wi-if and TV available if desired. Delicious meals provided, 3 per day! Nothing beats a “shore” lunch largely consisting of fresh fish that you caught! Fishing tips, repairs, guiding on the water, cleaning of fish, maps to likely fish locations, all provided. Oh yeah, the fish were abundant too! My group is returning next year.
