  45-minute hike from the parking area. A nice hike but long and hot depending on the month you visit. The lake isn't as nice as I had expected, not worth the trip.

  Nice little lake with an island. You can drive pretty much right up to the top on a gravel roads filled with jacked up jeeps full of mountain bikes but there is not very much parking at all so you would have to go very early in nice weather. The lake is directly on the top of the mountain so its not fed by a bunch of springs from all directions; I think it must warm up nicely. There is a repeater station atop the mountain so you will get a full 5 bars on your cell phone. Unsure if there are any fish in the water.

  Been living in Abbotsford for 24 years and this was my first time visiting here. Surprisingly a 10km round trip starting from the upper parking lot. Beautiful lake hiding in the mountain.

  Worth the short trek into the forest or up the side of the mountain it's you park lower. Surprisingly large lake tucked into the heart of Sumas mountain
