Very old motel. Not very clean. Cheap place to leave.
Standard motel room with good wifi and cable. The microwave and fridge were a plus. Pet friendly. The staff was excellent and that is what gets the 5 stars. The man who checked us is was so friendly and considerate. I recommend this motel for the staff.
Very clean and well managed room, wifi was nice.
Full marks because when you take a leap and book a very low rate hotel, you never know what you could walk into. This place is clean, charming, and the owner is so friendly and welcoming. No complaints from me. But if you're expecting an orthopedic memory foam latex silk covered bed, maybe go spend $200 on a hotel room.
The owner is more than helpful and welcomes you with a big smile on his face. The exterior of the motel does seem quite aged, but the room was very well taken care of and was clean and tidy. It was pleasant to stay here and definitely would come back if I had any business around the town.
Clean & Quit & Reasonable rates
Somewhat unfriendly staff, and found room a little dirty
This little independent motel is a gem. This is not a chain hotel where the rooms are cookie cutter. The rooms are in older buildings with quirks. We had two rooms and both had been freshly painted and were clean. One of our rooms had a 2 beds with one being in a separate bedroom space which offered privacy not normally found in a big chain hotel room. The manager greeted us at the office door, checked us in then personally walked us to each of our rooms. He offered us suggestions for where to go for a meal at a later hour. And the best part of the Century II was the price! $65 for the room with 1 bed and $90 for the 2 bedroom.
What a pleasant surprise!
While looking for places to stay in Dirty MacLeod, I began to worry about being stuck in a dump. In fact, the first place we tried really was one. I'm glad we switched. This place was so cozy. The building is obviously older but recently renovated. The linens are clean and new, the decorating is tastefully done and the bed was so comfy. The heater is old but works as is the AC and the faucets are a little dated but the water is hot and the pressure is good. There's even a Keurig with pods every room (and matching ceramic mugs). I will never consider myself "stuck" in Fort MacLeod ever again.
Heat didn't work its a dive don't stay here says large flat screens on the sign and has a 30" TV I mean is that large? NOT TO MENTION IT DIDNT EVEN WORK!!!! and they charged 90 dollars a night
