This is a much better deal than going to a liquor store. Bring back empties to fill again, and create your own labels to give a personalized touch - great for weddings, gifts, offices, etc. Efficient and helpful staff had us newbies filling and capping bottles like pros in no time.

Not just your average "u-brew" wine and beer store. Daryl is an amazing beer craftsman. You have a choice with your beers. You can do the concentrate/syrup or you can go with their fresh ingredients and their specialty ales as they cycle through the seasons. As a craft beer lover I don't particularly enjoy the syrup based beers but when these guys opened up they did so with proper brewing equipment using proper ingredients. A must do if you like beer.

I made a batch of wine here after my usual place closed down. They sell Spagnol brand kits, which are not my favourite. But I did get a pretty good one, and the bottling facilities are spacious and well laid out. The bottle washer looks impressive but doesn't work very well. Just wash them yourself at home.

I have had some poor experiences with brewing beer both at home and at some of these self brew facilities. The beer never tasted the way it should, ive had to mix it to hide the taste and even thrown some away.

I was introduced to the Cask & Keg and explained to Daryl & Jessica my reservations about brewing. The next thing I know I was given a sample of two beers to try at home. OMG these were fantastic!!! at last proper beer, full body, good colour and correctly carbonated.
Ive canned a batch of IPA since, shared some cans amongst friends and had really positive feedback. One guy who only drinks Canadian Larger even said he enjoyed the IPA and wanted some more.

Dont think of the Cask & Keg as a home brew place but rather think of it as your own private micro brewery. Get yourself down there to see and smell the beer.
Well done to all the staff and yes my next batch of beer is ordered and yes its a different beer again.

Exceptional brewmaster here who loves sharing his knowledge and knows the product well. Being a first time u brewer I was brought up to speed very quickly in an atmosphere that didn't feel overwhelming nor industrial. The staff fully explained all of the brews, the differences in processing, ingredients and history of each beer until I was ready to make my decision while answering all of my questions thoroughly. The people here love what they do and the passion behind it flows through the taps and into a perfectly crafted beer.
