An average rink. Lots of parking. Rinks 1-4 are better. Rinks 5-6 are awful. Rink is tilted. There is a skate shop, public skate offering, and indoor soccer facility.

Been here for decades. Used to be 4 rinks.
Well lit. Some rooms arw tiny but the first 2 are best, the blue rooms have cubby holes above.
    Good sized restaurant upstairs.

Would give 5 stars, but prices are a bit high for league fees and drop in programs.

I love ice skating on their rinks!I love the light system when your skating your favorite song plays and your skating in the lights.they also have a soccer filed where you can of course register birthdays.A place where you can come off the rink and walk upstairs for some nice hot chocolate.

Love playing both hockey and soccer here. The only downside is the ice isn't as smooth. Mostly due to turf field being warmer and players not waiting for ice to freeze

6 hockey rinks, a dedicated leisure rink, and an indoor soccer field. What's not great about that?
There's a cafeteria, a pub, a hockey pro shop, and a physio clinic - All you need in one place. Huzzah!

Year round ice hockey. The best place to go for summer hockey. Also cater to indoor soccer leagues as well

Probably the best ice league in the city, but still needs work. Ice can be really terrible. Some of their player benches are made out of wood (why??). Moreover, the league admins seem pretty complacent, and have little customer service. They have waitlists all the time so they don't need to be responsive at all, which is a shame as they could be amazing. The store and the restaurant is pretty good though. The store needs better selection of intermediate gear, and the restaurant is good for pub grub. All in all, still the best league in town but even then, maybe a 7/10. They're lucky they own the facility, otherwise, if they were renting like other leagues, they'd lose a lot of customers because it's not being well run.

This place is great! I like how there's a figure skating rink, hockey rinks, and a soccer field. The restraunt upstairs is good. The food is average. Overall, this place is pretty nice.

A few positives and a few negatives. Before I talk about the negative I would just like the say I have played hockey here for quite some time and it's a great facility. The restaurant staff is top notch and the waitresses are always spot on. I would rate the restaurant staff 5 stars. Skate sharpening is so so but you can't really expect much when getting your skates done last minute at the arena. Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples around the office that really bring my rating down.

I rented some hockey pants as I forgot mine at home. In order to do so they charge you $8.50 and require you to give them your cc and drivers license to hold on to until you return the pants. The pro shop advised to return the pants to the league office. Our hockey game that night was at 10:30pm and I specifically asked the pro shop representative what happens if the league office is closed. He responded, "In the event the league office is closed the ID and CC are then taken to the restaurant manager upstairs." Well needless to say that didn't happen and the helpful restaurant manager took me to the pro shop, office administration and my id and cc were no where to be found. Unfortunately the next day I had to drive out to retrieve my id and cc and the staff in the league office made it seem like it was my fault. Honestly all I was looking for was an apology. Instead the older guy in the league office says to me, "What? Did you expect us to bring it to you?" Well it was your fault in the first place and you made me drive last night and all day today without a drivers licence. Not to mention my job requires me to drive all day and I probably spent more in gas going back to Burnaby from West Vancouver than I did on renting the pants in the first place. Also factoring in time spent for protocol that was not followed correctly. To me the policy needs to change. They should not be withholding Drivers licenses for hockey pants that they charge you $8 rent for considering they are probably worth $8 and they already keep your Credit Card as is. I did get an office administration lady that took me down to the league office that apologized after but I was still frustrated with the league office representatives response. All in all it was a terrible experience. Moral of the story don't rent anything from Canlan Ice sports.
