My wife and I had an excellent online class experience with the Canadian Barista and Coffee Academy on Jun 12. Six students from Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver, joined this class by skype.we had 8 hours class, the sound and image quality were great. The Information provided was excellent and completed. I think it was worth to join this class. Many thanks to Jamie and the others.

If you ever had a glimmer of a thought to open a cafe, or you're already preparing to open, I would highly recommend you take their Opening a Coffee Business course (currently in online live teaching format) and learn directly from the industry experts that have years and years of experience. Save yourself the potential disasters and get it right the first time. As the saying goes "to know the road ahead, ask those coming back". You'll cover topics that you may not have considered before, and best to have it brought to mind before your money and hard commitments kick in. Sessions are interactive and questions are highly encouraged, even if they are specific to your own situation! I'm very glad to have taken the course and I think others will agree that it was incredibly valuable. While you're at it, don't miss their Coffee Tasting and the Barista suite of courses. You'll be better for it.

In response to the current situation, CBCA has hosted a few online seminars in the meantime to prep enthusiasts while in-person classes are on hold. The online seminars have been enlightening and you can tell the instructors have a wealth of knowledge, are very clear and easy to follow, and love their coffee! Looking forward to the in-person training sessions and tasting!

I was in Vancouver over the Canada day long weekend. Attending the 4 days of barista classes offered by this school. I've never attended courses and had an instructor with such a vast knowledge and experiences to share. I am extremely greatful too have met, learned and gleaned any information from Les. You know almost instantly what his level of knowledge is. I whole heartedly recommend this course and experience to anyone wanting to broaden their knowledge of coffee and business. Thank you.

When my partner and I decided that we would open a roastery cafe, the first thing we did (after attending the Canadian Coffee and Tea Show, and the Specialty Coffee Association conference in Portland) was to sign up for level I and II Barista Training at the Canadian Barista & Coffee Academy. It was one of the best things we ever did in our coffee education. In fact, the training was so thorough that when we opened the cafe, we brought in the Academy trainers to train all of our newly hired baristas and work with us in developing our roasting techniques as well. It may seem like a big price tag for training, but we believe it's the best in the business, and money very well spent!
