  I wish I could remember the names of the incredible staff who looked after me, but I was too sedated.
  This center is host to THE most dedicated, humane and nurturing nurses I've ever encountered.
  Nurses are heroes without capes and you done proved it.
  Keep up the relentless, often under estimated work that you do.
  You ARE the difference.

  Have had two major surgeries at Cambie on my spine, one in 2006 and one 2017. Both times I received what I feel to be the highest level of care possible. The staff is top notch, professional and willing to please. Had to stay there over night and the food was ordered in from a provided menu. Nice rooms as well and everything was spotless. Cannot recommended this place enough. The only issue I had was on discharge they told me that someone would call the next day to see if all was ok. I never received any type of followup.

  This is a wonderful facility with a great staff. Everyone was very friendly and professional. My anesthesiologist was amazing, I was nervous about getting my first ever epidural, and she did a great job describing things to me and talking to me to make me feel comfortable. The staff took care off me well, as often as i needed them. I had to stay overnight for observation and the dinner they brought me was excellent, completely tops hospital food! All the nursing staff were happy and smiling and very lovely to talk to, I enjoyed every part of my experience. I look forward to the next few visits I will be making.
  
  P.S: My surgeon was Dr. Andie Veljkovic and I just wanted to mention that she is an absolutely amazing physician. She loves her career and her patients with great enthusiasm. She is driven to find a way to help you fix your injury, no matter how simple or complex. She goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable and cared for, making it easy to completely trust her in taking care of you during surgery.

  No one in the recovery room could tell me what or if my shoulder was torn as I was the last patient of the day ( and week ) and the surgeon took off before I woke. They assured me 4 times that I would receive a follow up phone call the next day to answer all my questions and all info was in my release paperwork. I received no phone call, ever, my surgical report was left completely blank, my post op exercise sheets were missing and the paper I DID have told me to return to physio in 7-10 days.
  Follow up with Dr. 2 weeks later and now they say, I wasn't to go to phys. for 6 weeks.!!! 3 weeks later, I still have not been schooled in what they did. Worst patient care ever and they make it out like its my fault they screwed up. Choose somewhere else if you have a choice. patients first egos last.

  I went in for breast lift and reduction on my left breast to match my right. The lift was great but once the breast tissue relaxed I realized the left breast had not been reduced to match the right breast size. I was so embarrassed and traumatized

  I had hip arthroscopy at cambie surgery centre and stayed overnight there. The staff was so kind and caring during my stay. This was my fourth surgery on my leg/hip, the others being at the hospital where i was sent home gushing blood, or so weak that i fainted or barfing. I highly recomend cambie surgery centre, it was a very pleasant experience.
