I bought a gross old sandwich and it ruined my lunch. I picked up a beef sandwich on jalapeno bread on my way to work, it wasn't marked down but it was definitely old. The lettuce was scummy, and the top bun was soaked in mayo to the point it was partially decintigrated. Not sure what's next, I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I get sick

Nice selection of food products with Calgary CO:OP’s Cal and Gary Brand. Prices in line with other food retailers. Staff are attentive and helpful.

For me price and the quality is an important deciding factor when it comes to deciding where to shop. If two grocery stores in your area sell similar quality products at notably different prices, in Brentwood co op Brentwood have their unique selection of grocery fruits and vegetables meats especially the pastry inside I love it chocolates cake and farm roast chicken ready to go is a must try just for 12.99

Calgary Co-op Corporate has lost its way. This review is not meant to particularly target this store but this is the store that I generally shopped at. The Staff at this store are awesome people and I enjoyed interacting with them but enough is enough. I Refuse to support Calgary Co-op any longer.
All the benefits that I enjoyed by purchasing from them have been eliminated. Better off going to their competitors and receiving instant rewards rather than waiting for them to send out your patronage cheque. An added bonus is you get to look forward to a t4-a for tax purposes. They seem to want to be a giant convenience store. Not a good place for people that buy quality products and ingredients. Black forest cakes are absolutely ridiculous and lazily made. Just charge more for a decent product rather than destroy your great products. Too bad your shareholders have to die to get their shares paid out to them if they choose not to be a part of the organization.

    Good luck staying in business.

We received our 2021 co-op cheque a few months ago, as we moved and it had gotten lost in the shuffle. We called the number at the top of the cheque to see if they could issue a new one, as it was now a year old and had our old address on it, the person assured us we could use it like cash in store, and the date/address would not matter.Just need picture ID to match the name. Good enough. We just received our 2022 cheque to our new address, and decided to use both cheques on the weekend. We went to Brentwood Co-op, and had the most humiliating experience of our lives. We had 2 kids, already tired and upset, and the cashier giving us a hard time about the address, and it being outdated. We let him know we had called and were assured it was fine - he could call himself. They told us we could use it in store, but not deposit it at the bank. The cashier called over the self-checkout cashier (maybe manager on duty?), and he told our cashier it's fine. Our cashier proceeded to berate us, asking who we spoke to, how did we speak with customer service when they left 1 hour ago. We again, let him know we called the number on the cheque, not the store customer service. He continued to make a scene. This was mortifying - and we will never be returning to your store again. I work in customer service and would NEVER treat another person this way. Your cashier Giam has a lot to learn about empathy, compassion, humility, kindness and respect.

Great service and the gas rewards are the best in Calgary Only drawback is the grocery store is more expensive than the competition.

Horrible customer service. Two woman at the till gave my friend horrible attitude because she only had a roll of loonies to pay with. They made a big deal that they had to count it and told her she's a huge inconvenience and that she should go to customer service next time so she dosnt bother them. Loonies are not even hard to count there's only 25 in a roll Please remind your employees that they should talk to customers respectfully. Definitely not going back if that's the way they're allowed to treat customers.

The staff here is always so welcoming and friendly. When I need help finding a product, they walk with me to ensure I find it. The cashiers say hello and make eye contact. The customer service ladies are wonderful.

The kids program allows each kid to choose a piece of fruit (and a cookie). A few times the produce staff even washed and cut the fruit for my boys!

The store is always clean. Bathrooms are maintained well even though the store is getting old. On that note: developers will soon be building a sparkling new Co-op on the east side of this shopping area.

Good produce section and good bakery. Just had a 99 cent cream puff pastry there, so good. It's a grocery store, gets the job done.

Pretty good store, selection of items has been improving lately and their plants were great this year - got a huge developed fuchsia plant for a great price a few months ago. While the selection at the Crowfoot location is much better, it's also a much bigger store, but a lot of items I've previously only found at Crowfoot seem to be making their way over.

I had an expected reaction from the milk section stocker and the cashier from this store. Stocker section reprimanded me to call him first 3 days before, to get milk. It odd for me to get this impression of calling Kevin first before going there to get the milk. I went to get milk in the other store and didn't hear anything.
Today I went to get eggs for banana bread and I saw this little plant that I wanted. I went to the casher and pay.
The casher just throw my plants in the bag and dirt went out. I was pissed off how Brent reacted to me when I said that you broke it.
Just get another one, I said this is the last two. And he just ignore it. I think he doesn't like me and he like the lady before me because they chatted for long time.

Just everything I want in a grocery store. There's a small town feel here and cashiers are friendly but quirky. I like it!

Great grocery store near the university. It's a lot better than the local Safeway, and right by a train station. There is also a large parking lot. Great place to shop.
