  I'd say one star is a bit too much for ruining my stay. Horrible customer service. Owner operating in bad faith. Save your time and money go someplace else.

  Very enjoyable stay and dining experience here. This quaint place was always busy with locals coming early for breakfast and also enjoying dinner here. Great atmosphere and food in the dining area downstairs. Staff was friendly and professional and could switch from French to English very easily.
  
  We also stayed in the hotel upstairs. Rooms were clean and modern and beds were very comfortable. Again - great location. The street is lively but also authentic. Good walking distance from the parks and right down into Old Quebec. Would love to stay here again!

  Great Cafe, good food, great coffee, and a fun French Canadian bistro. Definetly worth stopping for Breakfast or Lunch.

  We stayed at the hotel here and were not impressed. The room was smaller than average and the bathroom was across the hall, not part of the room. The WiFi was slow and unusable. The breakfast in the morning was average and the restaurant made a mistake on the bill.
  
  Service is often slow and sometimes incorrect. I have been here 3 times for breakfast out of convenience and need to find a better place.

  I moved to Quebec City in 2011 and discovered this café on the main street of the Montcalm neighbourhood. I was impressed by the friendly, informal service and the well-priced meals.
  
  Unfortunately, the quality of the service has fallen significantly in the last couple of years. During my last visit in May, we saw our server maybe twice during the hour and a half it took us to order and receive our dinner. Several tables around us were still dirty. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the amount of time we waited.
  
  I've always loved this place's relaxed atmosphere, but there's a difference between relaxed service and lazy service. I really hope it finds its spark again, but for now, I'm not tempted to return.
