As an active person my entire life I've been to many many physio clinics. Most of the time I've been given poor to moderate assistance(printed out exercises with no instruction on how to perform them, etc).
At Brentwood I received the best assessment and explanation of my diagnosis I've ever had. They took the time to make sure I knew exactly what was needed to be done to recover, how the process would likely feel and the obstacles I would likely face.
I've never feltore confident in my recovery in my entire life.
If you're on the fence due to past experiences with other clinics, don't be. Best decision I've made for my health so far.response / report this review -

A few months ago I broke my pelvis in an accident. I went to Brentwood Physio two weeks after my surgery. Seriously the best physiotherapy in Calgary. My surgeon is really impressed with with the work the physiotherapist did and because of this I am way ahead of others with a similar injury.

I was a little apprehensive looking for a new physio clinic and finding someone with the expertise who I could trust, but I was comfortable with the knowledgeable and experienced staff here. I've been coming here for the past 5 months for an Achilles tendon injury. I've never had to wait prior to my appointment. They have reasonable rates, especially if you are without a health plan. Rachel is a very personable and pleasant therapist who has been excellent applying progressive treatments and effective exercises to help me through the long and slow recovery process. The office staff is friendly and Debbie makes every effort to make you feel welcomed.

The staff at Brentwood Physiotherapy are kind, helpful, and patient. From the front desk to the experienced physiotherapists. They take the time to listen to you, understand what your needs are and makes you feel welcomed. I have now had the pleasure of working with Kanika who has been very helpful. So happy to be free of pain and would recommend this clinic.

All of the staff at Brentwood Physiotherapy are kind, helpful, and patient. From the front desk to the experienced physios to everything and everyone in between, I could not be more grateful that I found this clinic, especially when I have quite particular concerns that I needed help with. Every time that I have been in the clinic (which for my current routine is two times a week), each staff member takes the time to listen to you, understand where you are at that particular visit, and makes you feel welcomed. I have now had the pleasure of working with two different physiotherapists and they have been so professional and knowledgeable. They take the time to ask questions, ensure you feel comfortable, and to give you the full care and attention that you need. I would recommend this clinic to everyone!

would definitely recommend! The service I received was amazing. I've gone to a number of places but this one was clean, professional, and I actually felt a lot better after going. Looks like I can finally work out again! I'll definitely be returning in the future if I ever need to.

Fantastic place, went here as I was experiencing pain in my elbow from climbing. Service was great, short wait times, excellent help. Am going back for my next visit soon!

Great place and great staff. Went here to get some exercises to help with a sprained ankle and couldn't be happier with the service. Have already recommended them to a couple other friends looking for a quality physio.

I am in my third week of physio at Brentwood Physiotherapy for a shoulder injury I suffered golfing over a year ago. It was my mistake for waiting so long to do something about it but I was hopeful that it would heal itself. I am very pleased with my treatment plan and progress to date and am looking forward to a full recovery. Lalitha and her staff have been very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Brentwood Physiotherapy to anyone requiring this type of service.

Fantastic services. The treatment I received over 4 months was the only reason I am here today enjoying even the small things in life like walking my puppy. Something so little, but so precious to me. The car accident took that away from me as well as many other things. But Brentwood Physio helped me every step along the road to recovery and now I'm doing the things I love once again!

Awesome place to come for physio and massage treatments. I have worked for other physio offices and this one is by far the best. Our staff is one on one with you and we want you to get better. Here we work as a team and treat everyone of our patients like they are part of our family.

This review is in response to the hateful, resentful and full of completely false claims in the review by Usman Makhdoom. First off, in full disclosure, the company I own does have a formal business relationship with Brentwood Physiotherapy, but this review is based on personal experience. In May of 2016 I was involved in an auto accident, and logically choose a physiotherapist office my business had done work with. The past year and half I have been a patience, going to the clinic up to 3 times a week. This has given me a great deal of experience with their office and their staff. This is why I felt it necessary to respond, because from my extensive experience with Brentwood Physiotherapy, it's staff and owner, Lalitha, the claims made by Usman Makhdoom are completely and utterly out of character his argument full of holes.
His claims about the "dinginess" - I don't know what impossible standards you are holding them too, but I always observed the staff being very diligent about cleaning the equipment, their workspaces and materials used. Beds were immediately striped and cleaned after ever client, laundry done and sorted throughout the day. Regular cleaning of equipment was also observed.
His statements about anti-muslim sentiment are also incredibly unfounded. The staff are multi-national, multi-ethnic and multi-faith, rarely do you see such a diverse mix in a business, even in Canada. The therapist, later mentioned to be Jaya, someone I have personal experience with, is a very sweet, formally educated woman of Indian descent. Of the many discussions we've had, never once have I ever got even an idea of any sort of bigotry and anti-anything sentiment.
His statements about the owner.. who he couldn't even get right.. is Dr. McMcSorley, there is no Dr. Brown even, are also unfounded. Highly educated and an an immigrant herself, never once in all our political discussions has she ever said anything even remotely anti-muslim. Her customer service is, like mine, of utmost importance.. never once have I ever heard her raise a voice at a customer or otherwise treat a customer with anything but deep respect.
And your complaint about being charged for missing an appointment? Guess what.. so did I.. a few times. I missed my share of appointments and I had to pay the piper they have good reason for it. If a client fails to show up for an appointment, that is money they otherwise could have made an another client. Regardless of your circumstance, you cold have called, this excuse is weak. You made a mistake, pay your dues. The fact you missed multiple appointments is inexcusable.
This talk of vile insults, pouncing and claws.. what comical embellishment! Again, this is nothing, in the year and a half, over 100 hour sessions I have had , i ever, ever observed.
You talk of anti-muslim sentiment, Donald Trump and talk of majorities wanting to ban the Niqab go get on your soap box elsewhere and leave your political discourse out of a review for a business.
Here follow up to you is factual and measured. You choose to respond with even more baseless accusations and vitriol of your own.
You would come and say Debbie, her receptionist talked to you like that? I will say this, the sun will turn blue, and the moon is made of choose before that woman says a negative word against anything. Debbie is the epitome of quite and pleasant receptionist! I know candy less sweet then her!
You continue your soap box speech about anti-muslim bigotry for multiple paragraphs, once again go to a newspaper forum, write a blog.. leave your political discourse out.
I acknowledge your right to protest and review this business but based on my far more extensive experience with them, not to mention the other very high ratings they have received, your review is highly biased and more based upon your sensitivities and perceived anti-muslim sentiment.
Canada is certainly not perfect, but you have the wrong target here.
Brentwood Physiotherapy, in my experience, has been a wonderful, accepting and inviting place for everyone.response / report this review
