The valley has beautiful trails. A muddy and rocky one leads to a hill top with a fantastic view of the valley. It's really like a children's story book. Very interesting and awe inspiring!

Absolutely loved hiking here. The view from Murphy's lookout was great and I met a fellow hiker who told me more about hiking in the area and recommend new spots and told me how to take the trail to see the landscape of flowers. It was a really great hike.

Nice nature preserve but zero facilities. No camping or hunting allowed.

We hiked to the Penacle first - a hilltop that's the highest point in the region where we saw rolling fields & beautiful fall colors.
We then went on the Primrose side trail which is a loop trail through the western portion of the park. It's of low to medium difficulty that's around 4km with relatively smooth trail and some hilly portions.
Not feeling tired yet, we hiked the northeast portion of the park - it's another loop side trail which is about 6km and goes onto a side road for a bit then continues back into the park leading us close to the entrance parking lot & Penacle. This trail has some muddy parts. I imagine it would get quite buggy during summer. There are quite a lot of slopes with small loose rocks on the trail, making it a hike with a moderate level of difficulty.response / report this review -

Nice river but there was tons of bees and very rocky other than that it was nice took my dogs for a swim
