  Some friends and I wanted to go bowling so we looked on the website and decided on the Barrie Bowlerama. It didn't seem like it would be too busy on a Thursday night, and nothing was posted on their website suggesting otherwise. We showed up around 6:45pm and we were told we wouldn't be given a lane until 10:00pm!! The place was nearly empty but apparently it was "league night", and we still couldn't get even one lane. Do not go here. Not worth it. I've never been to an alley that closes every single lane. That's simply not a good business practise. They've lost a customer.

  It's old, it's dated, it doesn't smell good, but it's a bowling alley. Guess that's like most bowling alleys. They offer cosmic bowling at specific times.

  This place is actually not bad at all. They have a decent arcade with a few pool tables on top of all the bowling lanes.

  I tried to book a Lane ahead of time but the website kept crashing. So we went to see if we could bowl and though there seemed to be many open lanes. The guy at the counter told me we couldn't bowl and they were full and I shouldn't just show up there. He was very rude and I had 4 young boys with me.

  The staff was very helpful when my toddler daughter fell and crushed her finger under a 5 pin ball she was carrying. The team at the bowling alley was very understanding and lots of help getting us out of there fast and safely. I also noticed as we were leaving they responded very fast to getting the blood cleaned up properly with gloves and proper equipment. They seemed to have great proper training to deal with such a situation that doesn't probably come up too often there. She was wearing proper bowling shoes just got too excited, slipped and caught her finger just the wrong way. One trip to emerge and one stitch later she is doing fine.
