Loved it! May be best for shorter stays, when showers aren't needed (there are only three in the whole campground). But the kids had a blast - we loved the hiking, the playgrounds, the amphitheatre, the sites, the view. If you are sensitive to noise, you may find the trains a bit loud (but we kind of thought they were cool!).

Pro's very clean campsite it was raked upon our arrival. Although there are a lot of sites here they are pretty private. Somewhat level. Nice trail along the river. Site had water and electric. Did not use the showers but they were pay.
Con's not many, trains could be heard during the night and the toilets need to be cleaned.
Stayed here in a class B RV. Would stay here again.

Nice quite place. Good sites and spectacular views all around. Very nice staff. Bathrooms by the sites are without water and showers are a bit far and take 2dollar tokens. If this is not a problem for you, I would highly recommend it to stay overnight or camp for all your vacation.

Beautiful spot, no question. Lovely pathways, clean, lush and wooded. The sites are a tad narrow for large trailers though so pick it wisely. DO NOT leave ANYTHING on your site if you aren't there, not even for a few minutes. We got fined by Officer McCully for it, so that put a damper on things ($172). When we were leaving they announced a fire ban so check on that before hand. Tokens are bought at the store for showers and they're about 7 mins per token. Whatever you don't use will be refunded.

Nice park, Well taken care of with lots of privacy on most sites. There is a train that comes through quite a bit but the noise didn't bother us. Loved itwill camp here again!!!!

Very nice campground. Rates are pretty good but wood prices are a little high. Sites are well treed and can get some pretty private sites. Will be coming back.

Clean site, great fire pit. Was on the waterfront but couldn't see the water. No tree coverage on waterfront sites (full sun, nowhere to hang tarps, best for trailers). Close to everything we wanted to do. Staff was friendly.

Nice campground, sites are spaced out well enough with plenty of forest between you and the sites on each side. Make sure you book a site large enough for your trailer, when they say the site will fit 40feet including a tow vehicle, it will only fit that 40 feet.

Beautiful area just entering Rocky Mountains. Great trails and picnic areas, especially down near Bow River.
