  I recently went through hell with a reckless accusation of a heinous and utterly odious claim. I felt alone and ashamed of what a person could falsely accuse someone and did not know where to start. I opened the web to investigate criminal lawyers to represent me. After reading endless reviews of criminal lawyer’s, I educated myself on one important key aspect for a lawyer to represent a client. Some lawyers will take your case, which is part of their economy of scale philosophy of lowering their fees. However, what happens is you do not get full representation. For example, the lawyer will meet with you a few times just before the court date. Consequently, you and your lawyer are not ready. In my example, Stephen Bitzer and Morag Morel met with me either by phone or in person to go over the intricate details of the case. Additionally, they insist on me doing my homework over and over again. I like to say, you get what you pay for and in this case, it’s your freedom you’re paying for.
  What you can expect is both Mr. Bitzer and Mrs. Morel have extensive criminal experience with individual approaches to cases. This tandem was a force to deal with in court. Morag eviscerated the complaintive in her cross examination of the facts with her impeaching herself. These facts were reviewed endlessly over an eight-month period. Mr. Bitzer is a master in courtroom demonstrating his three decades of experience through a summation that should be taught in law school. His approach was paced, detailed and reached the judge through patience and common sense. The devil is in the details and both Mrs. Morel and Mr. Bitzer are experts in extracting the specifics to best represent you in court. Do not fool yourself with imitation representation. There are lawyers who are at a discounted rate, or tell you what you want to hear like erroneous success rates.
  My experience with Mr. Bitzer and Mrs. Morel is they are sensitive, empathic and care for their clients. My case was pushed out three months but they would not relax. We continued to work with Mr. Bitzer charging up the hill relentlessly prepping me before my court date. They educated me about the law with direct facts on why they do certain things. Mr. Bitzer’s direct and absolute approach made me feel confident entering the court room. Mrs. Morel detailed strategy made me part of the process which gave me the strength to face my accuser. I am forever grateful to Mr. Bitzer and Mrs. Morel for their dedication to their craft and professionalism. In my case I was acquitted allowing me to go on with my life. I highly recommend both Mr. Bitzer and Mrs. Morel to represent you.

  Steve was awesome to us during this stressful time when a family member needed his help. Steve cares about his clients and took care of the situation and cleared all charges related to the incident. I would recommend anyone call Steve if your situation requires criminal help.
