I really enjoyed Bingemans this year. We were lucky enough to get a cabin which was very nice considering the weather was not the best. There was a Boston Pizza where we ate on the first night due to rain. The water park looked great, much like Wild Water Works, but the water was a little cold. My grand daughter had a great time on the play structure (she is 7). My only suggestion, and the reason for a 4/5 was that there was no where to get coffee on the grounds until 1100 am. At least the only place I could find was leaving the park to go to Tim Hortons. I was really hoping the "office" would have a pot on the go. Next time if I stay in a cabin, I will take my keurig

It was great for the kids but VERY PAINFUL on the feet for us all! They need to put down rubber tarmac or something better than asphalt to walk on and keep them clean of rocks! I saw them make a kid take off his watershoes before they would let him go down a slide and the worst part is at the bottom of the slides and having to walk back up! Also they need to have the anti slip flooring in the change room areas and hallway. It was like a dangerous slip and slide.

Been attending their dinners and brunches for over 20 years. The past few years have been awful and the past few have been the worst. I was unable to attend with my family because of surgery so my family asked if they could pay for another brunch to go. They were told no. We have done this before for our mother who sometimes, wasn't able to attend Was never an issue. I can tell there is new management by the way things are being run. Christmas dinner was a nightmare with staff not properly trained, horrible food set up, and definitely not accessibility friendly. I am just shocked at how bad things are getting there and think our 20 plus years of tradition is going to come to an end

It was our first visit to Bingemans for their Christmas Buffet and I can say with pretty much 100% certainty that we will be back next Christmas. The room was laid out beautifully and the attendants were uniformed and looked sharp. Pretty much as soon as we were seated at our table a waitress was there to take our drink order. The buffet was set up in an a joining room so that would be my only criticism. There were quite a few older people there and people in wheelchairs so it might have been a little difficult for them to get their food. Having said that, the room where the food was set out was done superbly. Lots of room between selections and there was a huge selection of food including, turkey, ribs, salmon, a large selection of salads, a multitude of breads and rolls and lots of finger vegetables. The dessert tables were set up in the middle of the room and offered a huge selection of warm and cold desserts. The service was impeccable and the taste couldn't be beat.

I was at the Saun Paul show there at Bigemans and found it disapoinnting that rappers opened up a REGGEA SHOW when their is so much local reggea artist like Jimmymagnum and Deflexx Stage, sound, Elephant Man and Sean Paul was awesome though!!

We went for the Christmas light show, but I was fairly disappointed. I drove real slow but seem to finish it in about 10 min ( after I drove 45 min to get there). It was fun to see them all but I feel like I didn’t get what the hype was all about. They have a radio station you can listen to while you go through, although the station didn’t come in for us. It was 815pm when we parked the car and went to go into the arcade, I line it said they were open till 9pm but doors were locked by 820 , so that was again a disappointment. We went over to Boston pizza and the bowling, greater by 2 teenage girls who were no help at all about bowling prices and any other questions as I had to interrupt them about there weekend talk. We seated ourselves near the bar at Boston pizza so we could see the TVs and check out the bowling. The waiter at Boston pizza was probably the only helping person!

We went to Bingemans last Friday for a work Christmas party for food, drinks and to check out the Escapeworx. Our company pre-paid for 2 drinks per person and we were given drink tickets, however when my husband and I went up to the bar we were actively avoided by the bar staff. I mean actively. To the point where the bar tenders were looking in our direction while whispering to other staff members, but never coming to our call. My best guess as to why? We didn't make a point in hiding our drink tickets.
So frustrating! I understand they want tips, and I would have been happy to leave a generous tip once my tickets ran out and I had to start paying for drinks.
We waited for 10 minutes! When I finally asked a girl behind the bar for a beer she responded with "Sure, let me get a bartender for you." She walked away and we were left standing there, obviously very annoyed. We went home that night with a couple useless pieces of paper in our pockets that our Company generously paid for.
We REALLY enjoyed the Escapeworx! So thanks for that Bingemans, but the bartending service at the bowling bar left us high and, well, dry. (literally)response / report this review -

Had a difficult time finding the entrance. The address on the Gift of Lights website took us to another spot. There were no signs and we found it quite frustrating. After stopping to speak to a security person we got directions and found our way. The lights were good and we enjoyed the drive through the park.

Went through the gift of lights tonight. I was extremely frustrated that a car was moved to cut us off from “the purchase in line” lane to allow them to purchase their ticket in the “speed pass lane.” We had paid ahead of time and had our ticket waiting for the speed pass lane while this person spent 5 minutes purchasing their tickets on their smartphone. Then, we were disappointed that at least ten displays were out. Our son was disappointed that so many were not working. The overall experience was underwhelming.

Love camping with the family, we love getting out and tenting with a campfire. I cant give any more than 3 stars though. You guys dont seem to really care about the camping experience a whole lot.
What would have made the experience 5 stars?
1st off, I understand that your expanding and as a result you require construction equipment working the land. But if the rules for campers are not to make noise before 8am, why are the bulldozers alowed making noise at 7am? To hear the machines grinding and shoveling from 7am till 6pm is a little excessive and you should limit their movement and noise to later in the day. It gets annoying, especially early morning and early evening when we were trying to relax.
Secondly, again I understand that we aren't allowed to bring in outside fire wood due to evasive species and your making money off of it but if you want to monopolize on the fire wood at least sell well dried wood that actually burns and not just tree stumps and branches that you cut from the various camping sites and bag it up. I bought 4 bags (for an expensive $7.50 a bag) only to have it smolder and smoke. The wood was still alive! Fresh cut wood is no good for campfires. What a disappointment for my young children.
Lastly your washrooms. Again I know camping, roughing it. All fine and dandy for us older folks. We don't mind the bugs crawling around inside the stalls and the squished mosquitoes and spiders on the walls and the dirty toilets. What about the younger generation though? My children did not want to use the facilities due to the feces in the bowls and pee on the seats and on the floor. They did not like the creepy crawlers and the squished bug guts on the walls. I noted that the staff members (kids) that you pay to
maintain the washrooms, go in, check supplies and sign the maintenance log. They don't go in with a toilet brush (a necessary tool for cleaning washrooms) nor do they wipe down the walls or countertops. Come on it takes less than 10 min to clean a bathroom properly. Instead, they ride up on an atv (too fast for a campground mind you there are children crossing roads that can get hit by your speeding staff members) guy and girl team. Girl goes in women's side and guy goes in men's side. Comes out 30 seconds later and sits and talks with each other outside the bathrooms for 15 minutes. Waste of money if you ask me.
I liked the particular site we were on. Had partial shade and was a good size. I liked your pool and other activities.
I will probably come back again, but IF I do, I will be making sure your construction is over first. I will also be bringing my own firewood, as you lost my complete respect in that area. And I will have to remember to bring cleaning supplies to provide my family with a clean bathroom environment, as your staff obviously can not.
Other than that, please instruct your staff to slow down in the campgrounds for the safety of the children.

I went to the Buble/Sinatra concert today. It was Extremely disappointing! Neither singer was "on key" . I would say that that the fellow who sang the Sinatra songs was better, but that's not saying much. The Buble singer was very poor - the vocal range was too difficult for him and he was flat.quite a bit. The jokes were worse than "groaners" and unessary and lame .. very lame.
If either singer thinks that he sounded like Sinatra OR Buble ..bzzzzzzzz.wrong answer! This show was . a disaster. Now, to an elderly crowd .. it was acceptable and that saddens me. I'm 62 and I, was embarrassed. All I could think of was . this shit show was good enough for the elderly and, Im NOW, in that category.. Guess what? It was totally UNacceptable! You pretended to be "good" and you fooled the majority - the over 75 crowd. The reality? I'll bet you're good BUT, you didn't respect the crowd and didn't do your best. If you did?? Went for the Gift of Lights event.
The kids really enjoyed the efforts and the lights, so for that part, it was a good time. I think it was a good first try, and I hope they make this a yearly occurrence. Despite the complaints, it was pretty and a solid trip through the park.
As for the adults, like all things at Bingemans, very overpriced. Very generous $20 plus tax entrance fee, and I hope the majority goes to the 3 charities as advertised. However, considering they were charging taxes, and not dispensing receipts, I have my doubts about where the money was going, and doubt the taxes were being accurately tracked. For future reference, if you are going to charge that much, perhaps roll the taxes into the fee. Realistically, $20 is probably reasonable for a Christmas display of that size, and judging by the lineup of cars, it was a success (for those complaining about the $20, perhaps a carpool is a better idea for you, then everyone can split the cost).
However, I think $10 would be an even better price, and would attract even more visitors. With enough sponsors, I'm sure the costs would be more than offset.response / report this review -

Well, not super impressed with camping at your campground this labor day weekend.
1. I asked for a site CLOSE to the water park, yet was given site 933.
2. Our camper is 32' long. Our site full of trees and EXTREMELY hard to get in to. Way too small sites here.
3. Asked for sewage siteI get your seasonal are there right now bc of issues beyond your controlbut maybe you could offer a discount for non sewage sites.
4. Water park closed early Fri And Sunday. The 2 days is was beautiful outside. Stayed open Sat until normal time when it was very cold and cloudy. Only 2 waterslides were open. Why not the others? Yet we pay full price.
5. Mini golf ran out of large and medium golf clubswell we have 4 people who are 6' tall. Guess we aren't doing that. Not to mention, no pencils to keep score and hole 10 was out of order.
6. Isn't quiet time 11pm? Where's security? We had people around us with very loud music, yelling, doing burn outs with their cars.

We came from London to see the Gift of Lights not terribly far from us but we were expecting more tunnel lights as that is what we seen in the pictures. Very disappointed with the small tunnel of lights. A few of the displays were not in sync with the others and some you couldn't tell what they were. $20 was enough to pay but tax on top of that was ridiculous. And what about receipts? If you charge tax you should be given receipts. We won't be back, we will go to Niagara Falls and see their light display which we normally do. There you just pay a donation of what you can afford.

Loved the camping but there are not enough washrooms around. Need to get some Johnny on the spots in more places. Also they don't keep their wood very dry! Had to return a few bags and get dry wood. They need better storage facility for their wood!

Went to the gift of lights. Like others feel, the cost of the admission was not worth the experience. I think I seen the brake lights more then I did the actual lights. The tunnel of lights was amazing though. It was a good first try however, in this day and age I expected more as we have come along way in technology. I also think if they had walk through instead with a shorter but more meaningful displays it would cut out the glare of brake light.

Our family went to see the gift of lights.
The kids enjoyed it. The displays were very good. We also liked the option of buying the hot chocolate or hot apple cider at the entrance. But I give it 3 stars due to the price. 20 dollars was a bit much. I think 10 dollars would be sufficient for what you get. Would be fun to do as a new tradition each Christmas but not with that price.response / report this review
