Very impressed with the level of service from the staff at this Best Western. The room was super clean and the complimentary breakfast was great. Definitely recommend.
As an inn I can't rate service, however their hosted smorgasbord brunches are not worth the money.
Come here for mother's day all you can eat pretty much yearly now since it's easy for family, garbage service and poor selection. Guests are split up into two large areas one seemingly for overflow, events always feel unprepared and poorly organized.
Check-in was easy, though we had requested poolside ground floor and didn't get it. We had card problems a few times, but front desk worked pretty quickly to fix it. The atrium with the hot tub and pool in the middle was good if you don't mind the public atmosphere. Beds were nice, room was clean, drains drained. The continental breakfast was standard. We had the Striploin dinners at the restaurant , which was quite good. Location is close to liquor store and Tim Hortons. Overall, for a quick overnight stop with buddies, this is fairly ideal. I wouldn't recommend staying for a special occasion with your wife, but otherwise I was happy with staying here.
The hotel was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was fantastic. The room wasn't ready when we arrived so we went to the restaurant for a meal. The food and service were spectacular. When we got into the room it was immaculate and the beds were so comfy. With a free breakfast, attached liquor store, beautiful indoor atrium, and a Tim Hortons in the parking lot - it was darn near perfection!
I'll be honest, I was a little worried about staying here at first. The hotel looks out-dated from the outside and is nestled between a truck stop, a highway and a derelict lot. So I was all the more surprised when I found this to be a wonderful place to stay!
The rooms were large and clean, if somewhat sparsely furnished. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good considering it's complimentary (real scrambled eggs with bacon!). Staff were all friendly.
The standout however is the atrium at the center of the hotel with its stone walkways through real greenery and a decent sized pool for the kids to play in.
Absolutely worth staying at if you're in the area!
The VIP room is absolutely amazing. The presentation of the breakfast is the best that I have ever seen and the selection was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again
We had stayed at this hotel previously and we really liked it. We got a good deal with our room and it was pretty big for 3 people. My daughter enjoyed running around the room because it was that big. It was pretty quiet so we got some good night sleep and it's pretty clean. The staff are friendly and would always say hi or good morning. Breakfast is good ( we got it part of the room rate) so that's nice that we don't have to go out of the hotel to get breakfast.
Our room was clean and comfortable, but was on the highway side so there was a lot of traffic noise. Thank goodness for earplugs! :-) The restaurant is noisy and basically serves only "pub food" so we went elsewhere (Greek Islands) for supper. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Ask a room with a view of the atrium and indoor fountain. It's well worth it! Also, the breakfast that's included was quite good. They've also got a pretty popular bar that plays live music on the weekend. The rooms are maintained well and the staff were pleasant. Definitely would come back again.
Spacious rooms, very quiet considering the location and clean rooms. Beautiful atrium with waterfall and tropical theme. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Good value for the whole experience. Only one thing that had us baffled was the shower/tub it was not a tub you could really fit in very well short sides and not it very long, being very tall made it not an option for me to have a bath. Other then that it was a very good over night stay.
I would come here again sometime in the future.
