Seated fast! Appetizer came fast. Mains came fast. Food tasted excellent. I recommend!
UPDATED November7 2017. The restaurant manager, Alex, contacted me last week. He apologized and made things better. I am happy with his response and feel comfortable recommending this restaurant, again
I've eaten at Baton Rouge in Toronto, Mississauga and Woodbridge . Always 5 star. This Baton Rouge needs head office supervision.
The hostess was uninterested. She decided to seat our party of 3 in the bar. It's was 5pm. The dining room was open but we had to ask to be seated there.
Ordered prime rib medium rare. It was delivered medium rare but at barely room temperature.
Server said medium rare is always served cool. Maybe at this restaurant but not at any others.
The food came back warm but veggies and mashed potatoes were also warm. It's not like the kitchen is that far away. There is no excuse for warm food. Why can't hot meals be served hot?
The other Baton Rouge restaurants did not have that issue.
Off night? Maybe. Disappointing, for sure
Limited menu but good food and portions. The wait staff are pretty good, sometimes they seem to vanish for a while but they're always nice and friendly, no scowls or attitude. Wish they had draught Guinness.
Sorry, but not sorry. The meal I ordered was good. But, the squash in the Steak Salad was under cooked. At the end of the meal. I asked to buy a few drinks for two girls who were having a girls night out, and the idiot bartender ended up telling them who had bought them the drinks. I had explained to the bartender that me buying them drinks was a purely random thing. But she went ahead, and told them it was me. I was so embarrassed by the whole thing that I just couldn't leave the bartender a tip. Sorry, it's a party foul if you betray your guests.
Been to this one a few times. Food is good. BR has the best Ribs! The chocolate brownie is delicious! Service at this location could be better. Staff don't come to check on you enough. Some seem disinterested in serving you. In my opinion the BR in Vaughan is better.
Very busy during lunch time during the week. Give yourself enough time to get drive and park there. Food was pretty good, and staff can be hit or miss. Servers can be a bit more energetic, but to be fair; it was a rainy week when I went.
Amazing food.. I had the steak with goat cheese on it and still dream about it! Other appetizers I tried were also very good (Nachos and shrimp)
This was a great setting with lots of options for dining. The food was great too! Good for families, and intimate settings. There is also a sports bar for the sports fans.
In seafood plate we find hair, It was changed, but nobody come to apologies and \or compensate us. Buns and butter we got just when we asked for and not like in other restaurants waiter bring it with food. Waiter was very slow . We got something to eat just after 80 minutes. It happened may be because tip include in bill and waiter not need to do nothing to satisfy clients. :-(
Staff were friendly, service wasn't bad at all. With the place only 1/3 filled, my table of 2 waited 40 minutes for a medium rare prime rib and a lobster risotto, which I had high hope on. Since just 2 nights ago I ordered the exact same dish and were extremely impress with it.
Unfortunately apparently medium rare prime rib meant cold prime rib to them, and lobster risotto meant strong onion and green onion taste risotto to them. Which is night and day different between Mississauga Baton Rouge from here, I am really surprise while they are under the same name, the food could be that much of a different.
I strongly recommend anyone NOT to go to this Baton Rouge and go Mississauga one instead.
