4 stars because I didn't receive the full quote amount offered during my initial phone call with them.

If I could do it again, I'd be more patient before agreeing to any sort of scheduled pick-up's, and go thru RetireYourRide.ca instead, for a less ambiguous process. I say this because I could have received 26% more money over the Auto Scrappers deal, if I had slowed down and gone thru RetireYourRide.ca instead.

Experience with Auto Scrappers: Received a call from them after submitting a quote request on their website. Mentioned to them the quotes I got from other local scrap car recycling businesses (all quotes surprisingly equaling the same amounts). Caller from Auto Scrapper offers to pick up for 6.25% over market quote, and we schedule for next-day pick-up. Communication is good, and tow worker is on-time, and car is inspected for its catalytic converter. Finally, tow worker offers 65% of original quote I got on the phone from them. I decide to take the cash and be done with it. It took only 20 minutes for inspection, transaction, and towing, so good job for that thanks!

If I were to do things differently, I would've just listed the scrap car with RetireYourRide.ca, a program run by the association Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC), and let the different auto recyclers bid on the vehicle and be sent a cheque. I got a final bid 26% over what I received from Auto Scrappers, but by then the car was already out of my possession. Word of advice, anything having to do with money, just slow yourself down and be deliberate.

After searching on Google for a reputable vehicle removing company, I came across Auto Scrappers. I was extremely satisfied with their service. Not only was the driver professional and punctual, I also recieved the best market price for my Dodge Challenger compared to other quotes I got from similar companies. Overall great experience and I highly recommend their services!
