Marcus and Carson came in with their mom and sister to spend some time with the cats. They also made a donation of $100 and gave us some cat and dog food. We appreciate your donation and your time. It is very important for the cats to get lots of love and attention. Thank you👍

Amazing place , we had taken in under emergency basis an abandoned dog temporarily until we could find a rescue to help him , we contacted many and by many I mean almost all rescues in the area and no one would help because I couldn't get the "owner" to sign over the dog and a few even accused us of discarding him our self claiming he was ours which he was not. It was a horrible case of someone just leaving him at a store and never coming back . AAF offered us help instantly and without accusations , I'll be forever greatful for them and any fund raising or work I do for a rescue will be with them from now on.

Miranda is extremely nice. We went in about half an hour before close just intending on looking but we ended up getting our second cat from there. I definitely would recommend going there as you get a chance to see how the cats interact with each other and you get to play with them before you make a decision

Was denied adoption today based on my family being too active for a female kitten ??? Was suggested to keep my eye open for an older cat as evidently the cat we chose was a very "special" cat. I can't help but leave feeling that there is a definite bias against large, all boys family. I'm beyond disgusted. I carefully selected a spunky cat, not the youngest, who was quick and not shy about putting the kids in place. I even selected a female cat to avoid any issues with testosterone in our home. The decision was made within an hour, hardly a thorough process. Definitely a decision made based on prejudice and personal opinion.

I adopted Maia a 12 week old kitten from here. In august she will be three. She has been a joy from the beginning and my cats and her got along great. It was required i meet her twice before adopting her and then picking her up on the third visit. This is to ensure they are the best fit with you. I just lost my Jazzy and i hope to adopt another kitten in the near future from here. I agree with the process. Adoption should not be taken lightly for any animal. Be patient and you will give a forever home to the puurrfect furry friend.

I just adopted a beautiful kitten today. The staff have been so friendly and so helpful. All the animals seem so happy and safe. This really warmed my heart. I am so grateful to have been approved to adopt my little one. She is such a joy to have around. No words can describe what you do for these animals and their potential families. You have given me a new family member that has touched my heart. And I thank you so much. Wonderful, just wonderful!

So let me get this straight your going to save the lives of cats and dogs by killing another species how does that work? Did you know is Brazil I see various of fundraisers that help dogs and cats and no ones body is served to help street animals. Pigs are even more intelligent than dogs. More and more places are removing meat from there fundraising events. It makes no sense to save one species by killing another. Obviously you like animals otherwise would not help them. But having a full pigs body roasting to help dogs and cats is disgusting. So barbaric. Why love one but eat the other? Truly disgusting and honestly heartbreaking.

Weirdest place ever. I've owned many types of animals and am looking to adopt a cat for my daughter. Tried a few yrs back and the lady wouldn't let my daughter even near a cat. Tried today and she announced while they are open to five we can't come by past four They seem to protective to people even trying to legitatmatley adopt. Fine I'll go to an SPCA

Too bad I can't review with a zero rating that you are promoting a fundraising event with a dead pig (you know they're smarter than dogs and cats???) sickens me beyond words; shame shame SHAME on you. It truly boggles my mind that someone who calls themselves a vegan supports this sickening "event"; I'll do everything in my power to make sure anyone who's in a position to foster chooses literally ANY OTHER RESCUE than yours.

I hear you are bbqing pigs as a fund raiser for animals. This is sending a message to the public that organization supports speciesism, shame on you! Pigs have the same intelligence as a 3 year old child. Pigs live a life of horrible suffering and do not want to die for someones 5 minute meal at a fund raiser. If you do not believe that pigs suffer as a rescue organization it is your duty to find out the truth.
