  Horrible Experience! The room was lovely, the manager wonderful on the phone. I had called to cancel, as I needed room for our dog and 2 more children, unexpectedly. Mike encouraged me to just upgrade to a slightly bigger room. He gave me a great rate, wrote me a lovely email welcoming my extended family and member " with tail". From the moment we arrived however, his manner was angry. He berated me for arriving with an animal and 2 extra children. He threatened to charge $20 extra per child. He chastized me for having a medium size dog. Saying I had said it was a small dog. Untrue! He hassled me when we arrived at 10:30 pm from Thanksgiving dinner, citing no noise after 10:00 pm. The children were quiet, we read to them, they were tired and fell asleep. He gave me dirty looks every time I left to walk our dog or returned from walking. He gave unfriendly dirty looks to my daughter and her husband when they came to retrieve their children. The amount of anxiety created by the ill feelings of this man weighed on our holiday overnight. The woman was equally unfriendly. We overheard other customers berated for arriving after 5:00 pm. This is not a hospitality service. These people were down right mean!

  Atrocious customer service DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The people at the front desk try to scam you for more money and are completely rude.

  1 star as bed was so comfy and the room was nice, however the customer service was appalling. I have never experienced such disgusting behavior from the guy who is supposed to be the forefront of the hotel. Upon check-out he informs me that head office were not happy with the make up on the towels and I will be charged, 50 dollars per towel-surprisingly the towels were perfect the day I was leaving but he had a picture on hes phone of the towels he claims were mine. Basically when i was speaking, he would laugh or speak over me and all he could say to everything i said was "I Understand" ironically he didn't understand anything as he was so rude- he would not listen to be able to understand. From my opinion i would not recommend staying in this hotel- they are only trying to steal money from customers card by making up stories. From travelling the world and staying in numerous hotels- i have never being treated with such disrespect.

  Cute and clean rooms but no phones in rooms to request for anything,no microwaves, no elevators not wheel chair accessible or baby friendly. We were on the second floor had to haul all of our luggage upstairs with no help offered. Staff were not so welcoming and friendly, would not go back.

  My daughter and her friends stayed there over the long weekend. They were stalked and harassed by the owner. They did not break any rules, yet they were told they were going to have to leave at 2:00a.m. When they explained they had no where to go, they were told "Go sleep on the street for all I care". The owner continued to harass them all weekend long. He pounded on the door twice. Once to wake them up, and another time to tell them that they couldn't use the face clothes to wash their faces. When I called to try to remedy the situation as it became a safety concern at 2:00a.m., my calls were not returned. I cannot stress enough that my daughter and her friends did not break a single rule. They were not being loud, disorderly or in violation of any hotel policies. This man was literally keeping tabs on their whereabouts and was inappropriately obsessed with them. This is not a family friendly location as he was extremely rude, unprofessional, and put these young ladies in a very potentially dangerous situation.

  So relaxing a new way to enjoy Grand Bend. Very clean, brand new paint, furnishings. Shower was warm and relaxing after a long day at the beach. Rooms are on the small size but perfect for couples without kids. Very quite and a decent location to the beach.

  Nice small hotel above a dollar store and a restaurant. Few rooms have balcony but the back rooms do not.
  
  Rooms were decent size and were very clean and the bed was nice and soft.
  
  Staff was very friendly.
  
  Shower was a bit small.
