Been going for years and it used to be great. This time I was disappointed. First, charging for a child under 2 is robbery. He isn't old enough to be into it yet but he costs the same. Second, we seemed to constantly be getting out of the way of the hay ride tractors and I'm surprised no one was hit. A kid near a corner almost was. In the past it worked but due to its popularity there are too many people to be driving a tractor through every five minutes.
Last we were on the back trailer and when it stopped we and others got off. The kids were excited and the driver made a snarky comment about not listening when he said stay seated. We are 20 feet away from a running tractor engine and we're supposed to hear that? His spiel about the farm verbally held us all hostage while kids just want to go pick a pumpkin. Poorly done this year Aldor Acres. My family and I won't be back.

Went there yesterday for a family photoshoot. We only went into the sunflower field and we're there for 45 minutes. I had to pay ($8 entrance fee) fine. But she wanted to charge me for my under two year old. I think kids under a certain age should be free. The staff were not friendly in the slightest and the attendant at the front was slow moving and extremely rude. Definitely would not go back there. The only thing we liked was the cute kitten walking around. Very disappointed with our experience after hearing such positive reviews.

Super awesome for kids, lots of animals to look at and pet. I have been going every year for 3 years now since I found out about this place and it never disappoints. Love how you can touch and interact with all the animals, always have baby animals from every kind. Super awesome for the pumpkin patch. Family fun!!

My family and I go here every year to get our pumpkins! The staff are always friendly and the pig races are a nice touch. Lots of animals in the barn for petting which is fun for the kids. Always a great turn out. Love it :)

I absolutely adore this place! Being able to feed and pet all the animals is so much fun especially for kids. The owners are so friendly and have lots of funny stories during the hay ride. It is a wonderful place to take the family or for a kids birthday party. Love it!!!!

On the surface, the animals at Aldor Acres may appear to be well treated, happy, and even loved. But the ugly reality is that this is a farm that makes money from their dead bodies. The animals are destined for slaughter at a fraction of their actual lifespan. And for a product that we humans do not need, just relish.

There can be no humanity in killing someone, who does not want and does not need to die! And there can be no true love, respect or even decency in cuddling/petting an animal one moment and eating his/her kin the next.

It's very natural for children and even adults to want to interact with animals, especially baby ones. But by doing it at a farm like AA, we are teaching children that it's ok to view them as means to our selfish ends, as objects and not as living beings entitled to their own lives. Might does not make right! Why not teach children compassion and true love and respect for all? The world would be so much a nicer, kinder place.

Last Sunday, a small group of people went to AA to protest the hypocrisy of the humane meat marketing. It was a peaceful protest. In return, we got lifted fingers, swearing, and taunts. Someone thrust a hotdog in our faces. Another took out a pocket knife and threatened to kill the farm dog, just because we said there was no difference between a dog and a pig/lamb/goat When we were leaving, we discovered that one or two tires of all our cars had been deflated! Six or seven cars! These are the kinds of people running that humane farm. We, on the other hand, did not damage or tamper with any property whatsoever.

Animal sanctuaries like Happy Herd; Hearts of Noses; Rabbitats; SARS; SAINTStreat the animals with real respect and true love!
