  We took our dog for a nail trim here, and it was a mistake that has caused serious issues. The groomer gave off a horrible vibe, and I should have listened to my instincts and walked out with my dog, but unfortunately I listened to her when I was told to step out while he was being groomed. I came back to find my dog with uneven and some very short nails.
  
  The consequences of the sloppy work and possible dog abuse inflicted during this procedure is that our sweet dog who previously had no issues whatsoever getting his nails clipped at the vet, now has to be sedated by the vet & muzzled to have his nails trimmed. He is still fine with every other dog grooming procedure such as baths, tooth brushing, ear cleaning, etc, but whatever abuse was inflicted upon our poor puppy during this appointment is completely heartbreaking to see.
  
  Shame on this business for employing people who clearly have no idea of what they are doing, and quite possibly, judging by the other reviews posted in Yelp & Google, abusing the dogs.

  We had a great experience at the Adorable Doggytown! We brought our Chow chow for a bath, cutting her nails and brushing her teeth. She is so lovely and fluffy now it's crazy! I never saw her being this fluffy and soft :) They trimmed her tail a bit which is beautiful and make her look even more than stunning than she was already. We will definitely go back to the Adorable Doggytown for the bath of our Stella! Thanks to the girls who took care of Stella for like 6 hours! You both are amazing!

  Horrible experience. My dog was brought for a trim and came out shaved with a cat cut! The excuse my boyfriend received when he picked him up was that he had too many knots!! My dog is 7 years old and has been groomed many times, I have yet to find one knot in his fur!! I cried for an hour when i saw him! Seems like the staff found it easier to shave him than to actually do their job and give him a cut. Stay away. For pictures please see below!!

  I brought my wavy Portuguese Water Dog for her first cut (she is 7 months old) and explained clearly that I wanted very little taken off to keep her shaggy look. They had clearly never worked with this breed with wavy hair. I mentioned "puppy" cut and "trim" multiple times and even demonstrated the length with my fingers, but when I picked her up her hair was barely an inch long. And, the length of hair differs everywhere on her body (they didn't even cut the hair on her tail until I asked). I would not recommend this place for dogs with long hair that requires "cutting" but only dogs with "fur" so they can just shave it. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because my dog didn't seem traumatized at all - only me!

  I decided to look for a place to leave my 1 year old dog while leaving on vacation on very short notice. I decided to try Adorable Doggytown because of the reviews and the offer of the open space. They were quick to contact me back and accepted to take him no hassle. Crosby stayed there for 2 weeks and came back better behaved than ever. I recommend this place.

  Dominique always takes amazing care of my dog and goes out of his way to make sure my pup and I are happy. My dog always comes back happy and tired from play after time at the doggy retreat.

  Amazing!!! Dominic is the only one who can cut our old girl's nails. We thought it would be impossible. He's so efficient, accommodating and the welfare of the animals is his priority. Love it!

  Wonderful service. Dominique went above and beyond for my Joey, a very large, very fluffy, very dirty Inuit sled dog who just came from the SPCA. He put in extra time and effort to take proper care of a dog who had clearly been neglected for a long time. Now Joey is much more comfortable and very handsome! Grazie mille, Dominique!

  I had a wonderful experience last year with Christina and my old dog. Sam. She was very sensitive to an old dog's needs and was both gentle and gave him a wonderful cut.
  
  Unfortunately, that did not happen this time. I can only suggest that when an apprentice is hired, that the owner not leave her alone until he is sure she knows what she is doing.
  
  Poor old Sam looks like a bald cat with several spots on his back and side where the razor cut flat to the skin. I didn't realize how bad he looks until I got home.
  
  Thankfully the owner tried to repair some of her work, but unfortunately it was too late. I like these people, but am very disappointed. Sorry.
