Fast, friendly, and professional. During the mornings, it's a fast food chain that has the feel of a local breakfast diner. Smells of cooked eggs and coffee, with group chatter all around you. You're not rushed into a turnover environment that often characterizes a fast food chain.

I'm impressed with the A&W duality.

They keep forgetting to add the fries in my orders. I find the staff isn't as welcoming anymore and if you are not a regular it does not matter if you were next in line or not, the regular can just walk up and order. I was even at the till and another regular walked up and ordered. She immediately looked after him in the middle of my order.

I love A&W as the burgers are cooked well, the pop can be refilled and the bathrooms are generally clean.

Good breakfast, fast friendly service, fair price. The coffee was Van Houtte. Only complaint was the coffee was so hot I burned my tongue. Mostly my fault. Coffee had lid on and I sipped before I let it sit or cool it. I'll try it again only smarter now.
