have been working with 5 star for years to fill up my once barren acerage e. They always willing to got the extra mile - I have called them numerous times for advice when I am in the middle of planting and they help me out.
Found a nice 5 gallon walker caragana for my front yard rock garden bed. other places I checked before this had very sparse caraganas that looked in need of a hug. Was a no brainer to get my plant here.
Drove out to choose trees for our backyard (our landscaper directed to do so). The staff were extremely rude and told us the farm was not open to the public. Not very accommodating or customer service oriented. Needless to say we did not use their product.
Service was excellent, both at the farm while choosing trees, and during the delivery and planting process.
Great service and great locally grown/acclimatized trees. Staff are very helpful and enthusiastic.
Phoned 5 Star looking for some hard to find shrubs for my back yard. They had the exact types I was looking for, and brought them in for me. had them in my hand less than a week later. The Plants look amazing.
Met with a salesperson to review our landscaping plan last September to place an order for spring of 2014. They did not communicate issues or problems to me except whenever I called to get a date of delivery. When I finally spoke with the salesperson after many attempts there was always an excuse; such as poor weather , larger orders ahead of our order or alternate trees to those that we had requested to the plan. This was a surprise to us, because during our initial meeting sourcing of the trees would not be an issue; considering that we had a lead time of 9 months. We had a promise of a delivery date for the end of May and, again for mid June. We proceeded with arranging a scan from "call before you dig" 5 Star Trees did not call or email to indicate a delay. Finally, we just had enough of false promises, and lack of professionalism and cancelled our whittled down order of 2 trees and 44 shrubs and perennials.
