Best ceviche in town!!! The pupusas were delicious as well!
I had a pretty basic but tasty meal here for 35$bz. I found it a bit overpriced compared to the looks of the restaurant
Lobster burrito here is THE thing to get. Do not miss if you are in San Pedro.
Floor is sand even though it is not directly on the ocean. It may not look fancy, but if you want low hassle great food give it a try.
Tasty pupusas! Pretty standard fajitas but the tortillas are extra thick here almost like homemade pita. The fresh juices are tasty. A solid stop in San Pedro town.
Their lobster burrito is legendary! One of my favorite restaurants on the island. The food is all made fresh from scratch so it does take a little bit of time but well worth it.
Lobster burrito. We shared it amongst 3 of us. Highly recommended.
Pupusas were yumny with lots of variety in fillings.
Great service. Food is a little slow but you're on vacation anyways!
This place was very good. I enjoyed a delicious pork kebab and the staff was excellent when catering to our needs. We ended up seeing our waiter later that evening in a bar and shared a few cocktails with him. If looking for a new place to dine, consider this place.
Great place, great food, best prices.. and the lobster burrito is divine!
Fun atmosphere, i liked being able to see some of the food being cooked. The service was pretty slow though.
Excellent food and service can improve
The best Lobster Burrito on the island!
Now offering local lunch ,fry chicken ,rice & beans with a vegetable salad. Local prices & super delicious.
Amazing! After our first dining experience there, we went back 4 more times. Loved the Ceviche and the Lobster Soup. Thet are known for their Lobster Burritos, but I couldn't find anything on the menu that did not deserve a reviewing review. Enjoy!
Portions are ridiculously huge,
They seem to offer dishes that no other spot on the island has.
Don't be fooled by the exterior
It's what gives this place it's charm
Delicious lobster, nicely set up restaurant and helpful as well as nice service. Highly recommended!
When researching restaurants and traditional Central American food to try on our trip, I stumbled across a travel blogger who wrote about Papusas, and he specifically mentioned that Warugama was the place to get them.
The restaurant itself was super tiny, I'd consider it more of a food window with street side seating.
A papusa is essentially a thicker crepe-like batter that gets spread over a flat metal surface and cooked. But before the dough is laid out, you pick what you'd like to go into your papusa. The minced ingredients are all mixed together and then pour over the flat surface and spread thin like you would cook a crepe. The result is slightly thicker, but full of flavor and makes a surprisingly filling snack.
The seafood one was ok but a little on the fishy side but the sausage and veggie one was delicious!
We went to waruguma 2 times while we stay in San Pedro. Very good food, prices not higher neither lower than other restaurants but quality was very good. Lobster dishes delicious.
