  Based on the reviews, I'd be willing to say that perhaps we dined there on an off night, but that wouldn't explain the bland and cold food.
  
  We were seated and left to look over the menu. Waitress returned about 5 minutes later after milling around at the bar. I asked what she recommended, she said she liked the "Spiced" section of the menu, but the proceeded to tell us that they didn't have more than half of the proteins on the menu available. Why not tell us that when we sit down?
  
  Family of 6, 2 adults, 2 teens, 2 toddlers. Teen daughter ordered only fries. Portion was small, fries were soggy, limp and cold. Ordered wings and fries for toddlers, fries colder than room temperature. I ordered chicken kebab with a side of steamed vegetables and rice & peas. If I'd known that the chicken kebab was basically vegetables on 2 skewers with about 3 pieces of chicken each, I would've foregone the extra veggies. Very little seasoning, chicken seemed to be steamed - not grilled. Mom ordered fried shrimp with mashed potatoes, potatoes were cold.
  
  Prides were unreasonably high for all that's mentioned above. $98 for a family of 6. Should've been closer to $60.
  
  There are plenty of small restaurants within walking distance of this place. Try one of those.

  Delicious food, incredibly helpful staff and a fantastic bar. The best part is, it's all open air style. You eat outside and the floor is white and Sandy just like eating on the beach (which isn't too far away anyways). Overall great place and I highly recommend eating there.

  Absolutely the best, most personable restaurant I have been to on my trip here. Love you Monty!!! Your body builder girlfriend will be back to see you again! You know who I am. Thank you for taking care of Kevin, Kim & myself! 💪🤗😉👍

  Could not recommend more! This restaurant has great cocktails, delicious food, amazingly friendly service, and at a very reasonable price. If I'm ever back on the island we will definitely be back to catch up with Monty and revisit their delicious cuisine. The lobster and jerk chicken are highly recommended. We had several cocktails, all of which were very well made. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for and really made our visit to San Pedro. Forget your overpriced hotel restaurant with it's generic American foods and only OK cocktails, and pay Monty a visit for a fantastic night!

  We just had a blended mango margarita and it was amazing! Best drink we have had in Belize! The food and service was also amazing!
