  Temple of the Jaguar is the first Mayan ruin that we saw at Lamanai. It will always be the first Mayan Temple that I have seen! It's very interesting to learn about this specific temple which is dedicated to the large species of cat, 3 of which are still in the vicinity! The large grassy area in front of the temple makes for great pictures of this structure. The trip to get to Lamanai is a little long, but well worth it!
