Absolutely amazing place. Went to belize for my honeymoon, the owners were so helpful they even let us borrow their snorkel gear. Loved this place

This place is great for drinks and environment. The food was not great. None of our group enjoyed their food. The 'hot' buffalo wings I had, tasted like they were tossed in ketchup.

Wish we would have found this place on day 1 of our trip instead of our last. Loved it!

Amazing little gem in downtown Placencia. Staff was attentive and the owner came out and shook our hands and talked about his experiences in Belize. Be sure to stop here at the great Ex-pat establishment.

Loud and fun atmosphere, good burger and fries! Don't go here looking for local food, much more American. Wish the menu had a few more food options, but drinks are strong! Have fun plying with the two pups, Mya and Ziggy 😊

Fun atmosphere, great server but limited menu. We've eaten lunch here a few of times. I would like to rate this place as 4 star but we found some of the food mediocre and the menu is limited. Good to stop in for drinks when there's live music.

Not sure why this place has good reviews. The customer service was very bad and the food was very bland. We were seated by the owner who was very stoned! it was hard to understand what the heck he was trying to say about the menu. Then the waiter came to us and told us when we are ready to order to come and get him. We took a couple minutes to look at the menu. When my husband was ready to order food he came to the waiter to let him know that his ready. The waiter was standing at the bar rolling a big blunt and said let me finish rolling the blunt first and then I'll take your order. We ordered chicken wings and fries. Wings were bland and not seasoned at all and fries were soggy. After our meal we wanted to pay with a card and suddenly was told they only take CASH. First of all there was no sign at the front of the Pickled Parrot Bar that says CASH ONLY which is LAME! Second, if that's the case when they take your order they should let you know that in the beginning of the serves not at the Not END! My husband told the owner that there was no sign about cash only the owner said yes there is and pointed his finger at a small sign behind the bar written in small letters where you can barely see. I can go on and on This is not how you do business And also at the same time we witnessed a couple walking out on the owner. First they were seated and ordered drinks and then owner came to them and told them they can't sit there that they need to sit at the picnic table the couple said the waiter sat them here. The couple got mad and walked out. It's CRAZY! You can't make this stuff up! We will never go BACK to this Place Again!

Great little watering hole. Most of the guests were expat, and as friendly as could be. The Coconut Shrimp over rice was excellent.

Stumbled upon the Pickled Parrot while walking around during a cruise stop. Owner Eugene & bartender Remo are welcoming and friendly. Beers at a great price. Didn’t eat anything but the $10 chicken parm special smelled great. Eugene was kind enough to show us around town in his golf cart, which really made our day in Belize. Love that they moved from Jersey and living their dream. If we find ourselves in Belize again we’ll definitely go back, this time with a trinket to add to the philly eagles shrine! Glad we stumbled upon this place and highly recommend anyone else exploring the area to stop in. Thank you again to Eugene for the hospitality!

This appears like the home of Jimmy Buffet. The owners left New Jersey to start a new life and so very happy they are. This is a great bar to kick back with some really good food. It is located down a path from main st. to the beach so don't miss it. It is worth a visit to sit and hang for a few.

Fantastic local bar and eatery. Good cold Belikin, good burgers, fun atmosphere. Had a nice afternoon. Eugene, the proprietor, is a very pleasant gentleman, cordial, and eager to see you get what you need.
