Best food
3 stars for the wait, mostly. It took 40+ minutes to get my food and I was the only one in the restaurant, and I ordered a simple burger. I can't do spicy food, the shrimp was on the edge of being too spicy to be enjoyable for me. The French fries are not worth the added cost which almost doubles your price, they don't taste good. The kiwi shake was good. I also suspect the prices are low based on other reviews, but it's my first restaurant.
The best Stewed Pork on the Island !!
Came here for breakfast and dinner on the same day. We were recommended this place by our host since it’s a little on the cheaper side as far as restaurants go in San Pedro. The Belizean breakfast is good and it’s better if you get the fry jack. We don’t eat meat so the kitchen gave us fresh fruit instead. Coffee was charged per cup in our case. Not sure that’s how they normally do it. Total came to about $33 Belize dollars. Later that night I got a lobster burger which was just ok. It was a small piece of lobster tail with some sliced cheese. Burger and fries are about $25 Belize dollars. Overall, the value is better here than other restaurants near the main town area.
Welcoming
Great authentic meal at great prices. Ambiance is fairly non-existent but that's not the point. As long as you're okay shutting off your brain while listening to some fat American complain about Sandy Hook being a false flag attack you will enjoy this place.
Great food
Small and gear good. Oscar is always on his top game.
Great, soulful food. Authentic, local, friendly and affordable. Super delicious and really clean! Go hungry, expect to leave full and in need of a siesta.
This place is never open we have come by 4 times at the time posted and it's never open. Could Belize time be worse than Jamaican time??
