The museum is on 2 floors with slave history with interesting testimonies, equipments, photos and local painters art paints. On 2nd floor it is dedicated to Mayan history, jade and jade head. Worth spending 1 hour if you visit Belize city.

The museum is impressive. They currently are featuring art by locals. They have a good display on cultures of Belize. However, I would like to about Creole, Garifuna, Mestizos etc. They have an extensive display on Maya Indians.

Well worth the $5 USD admission for the A/C, free WiFi, and clean bathrooms alone
