ABOUT BELIZE
Located in Central America between Mexico and Guatemala, Belize is an ecologically and culturally diverse country that brings in visitors from around the world. Divers and ocean lovers thrive on the country’s coastline which is home to the second largest great barrier reef in the world, in addition to over 600 species of fish. Heading inland to the lush rainforests unearths even more biodiversity in the form of over 500 species of birds and 150 species of mammals. Ancient Maya ruins are also scattered throughout Belize, in addition to many prehistoric caves for exploring.

Belize is the only nation in Central America where English is the official language and U.S. dollars are freely accepted as currency, making it very easy for North Americans to travel.
