  Great place to stay - good value. Clean, comfortable and with balcony and hammock. Owner is very friendly and flexible was eager to help out. Highly recommend!

  The only reason we gave 1 star is because they had hot water! The rooms were much small than they appeared in the pictures. THEY DO NOT HAVE A.C. like the website stated. You couldn't get into the bathroom with out squishing your self against the end table to open the door because the bed was too close. The bathroom door also hit the ceiling fan any time you opened it. There was a parrot that was very noisy from 430am to 6am. The view was just a wall to another room. The beds were hard as a rock. The person I went with likes harder beds but these were beyond hard and very lumpy. However they did have a Kitchen that you were able to use, provided fresh towels and the bar was nice.

  Mara's is a pretty cool spot. There's no A/C but being right on the water, there's a nice breeze that comes through. The hammock on the porch is also a nice touch. It was well worth the money.
