Really liked the place. Nice and quiet. For a location that is off-grid surprised to see the Internet working as well as it did. The connection however does not reach the cabins. Food was nice, beer was cold and so was the rain plunge-pool, but nice to put you feet in after a day hiking. Staff and cats were friendly, (humming)-birds flying around, howler monkeys in the distance and gentle rain on the roof make for an excellent nights sleep.

Particularly great because it serves as a great escape from society, nestled gently in the beautiful forest amidst great wildlife.

Incredible place. Kate and Ian look after guest amazingly well. Thoroughly recommend Hickatee cottages.
