Absolutely loved it! The best place to stay in town. You feel like you are at home. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm. It had a bathroom with shower ( hot water). The room also has Aircon.
It has a nice kitchen and a big TV.
The owner will answer all your questions about tours and what to do in town.
    Good WiFi.
    Recommended.

Rafael and his staff are incredible hosts! The hostel was clean, with a full kitchen to cook and store your own food. The AC, internet, and hot water were perfect!!! And Rafael is incredibly well connected in San Ignacio, he will help you in whatever your endeavor! Highly recommend!!

Everything I want in a hostel. Stayed for two nights (had only planned one) in a 4-bed dorm with large attached bathroom with plenty of hot water. Very clean, affordable, and secure (locks on doors and lockers in dorms) and the staff can't be beat. Fully equipped kitchen with filtered water. This is a quieter area of town near a school, park, river, and the market square. Hostel owner Raffi is full of information and stories and came in with a bottle of tequila to take shots with us; he's full of info. about other hostels even if his isn't full.

This place is awesome :-) Great little kitchen, clean common area, helpful tour organizing, air conditioning in the rooms, power outlets near the beds, and the hottest shower I'd had in Belize! The owner Rafi is so wonderfully kind and helpful that I I just can't say enough good things about him. He was on his way driving into town one day and even offered to give us a lift to the Xunantunich Ruins. What a guy!

One note, which I didn't even feel merited a reduction in my rating, is that it's a little bit further of a walk from the center of town that some of the other options. In the evening the walk is a little bit dark and I even heard that a couple of unlucky tourists had been mugged some days earlier, but sometimes that's just luck. I didn't feel unsafe at any point but I'm a big guy. Like a lot of Belize it's to walk around in the daylight or travel in groups.

Great hostel, location was awesome, rooms were clean and wonderful host. There's a restaurant right across the street and more just a few minutes away on the same street. Hot water was great, bathrooms were clean daily as well as the rooms. I highly recommend this hostel.

Superbe hostel !

    Bref on a adoré :)

In addition to being a hostel, Dee's is also a guesthouse with apartments for rent. We rented an upstairs unit, Apt 2, which is a one bedroom with full kitchen. There is a balcony outside so you can sit and watch the world go by if you wish. The inside is spotless. Raphael is slowly renovating everything and this apt was beautiful. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. Raphael strives to make each and every one of this guests feel at home. He even drove us up to Xunantunish so we could tour the ruins. It is priced right, and is right at the end of Burns street. We loved our stay here! Was there for a week.

Rafael and his family created a home away from home. I stayed in a 4 beds dorm, but there is a living room and a kitchen you can use. It was great to cook couple of meals and have a couch and a kitchen table in the house. I work on line from time to time and the internet connection was very good. I highly recommend this peaceful, functional hostel with a homey feeling.
