Excellent customer service. Staff is very friendly and help. Nice breakfast and trip mexician rocks with an amazing guide
Nice hotel. Beautiful location and the ocean views are a must see. Peaceful and quiet. Best place to relax. Staff are very kind and helpful. Food is rather poor at hotel, so advise to try the local options.
It's a great place to escape in Belize. Staff are awesome and were helpful the entire trip. I would caution using the associated tour company though, from both my experience and some other guests while I was there, you may want to keep you options open.
I spent 5 nights at Costa Blu in January 2018. The location is very far up north on the island. That said you want to be a guest looking for peace and quiet to enjoy the location. There is nevertheless a shuttle boat going to town every 2 hours. Travel time is 25 min.
The hotel is pretty new but has a charming Caribbean interior and decoration style. I loved the property itself as it is very well kept and clean. The only reason for me to take a star away is the service in the restaurant and the food. The service needs to gain more experience and needs to get more training when it comes to speed, level of attention and detail orientation. In regards to food I was not impressed and considered this rather average and uninspired. The prices are too high for what it is and kept me going to other places to eat.
Overall I had a positive stay but think they need to invest more into the details mentioned above to keep up with the quickly growing competition on the island.
The only thing that was not amazing (but good) is the food at their restaurant. If not - it's a paradise: service quality is great, hotel is calm and beautiful. Room Is spatious. Bar in front of the hot water pool is a must for an aperitif time! Really great time spent here. PS. - sea in front of the hotel is the most beautiful you will ever see (but no sandy beach).
I stayed at this hotel over the Christmas holidays. It is a quiet adult only hotel with good service and friendly staff. However, its restaurant is mediocre at best and the access to the water is impaired by seaweed. It is also several miles from good restaurants which can be a challenge if you are looking for a break from the hotel cuisine. I felt it was slightly overpriced for what it offered compared to other hotels on San Pedro.
Lovely open space resort with great pool and relaxing grounds
Great staff. Great place
Very good experience. Best bartender ever! Everyone was very nice and they took care of us!
The pier there is one of the very few on Ambergris Caye where you can actually swim from, being in deep enough water. It is a very quiet, secluded place. Guests seen to keep to themselves and let their pets enjoy the peace, read on the beach or pier.
Beautiful seaside location. Private. Not crowded.
friendly staff, quiet and relaxing resort. The facilities were in pristine condition.
Great food and staff and we weren't even staying here! Came over from Portofino because there food and prices were just only OK. Next time back we will most likely stay here.
Great drinks, cold beer, tasty appetizers. Skip the dinner entrées, they are resorty bland and get a local taste with conch fingers, fish empenadas, and the cheese chorizo dip.
The bar staff are incredibly friendly and engaging and the other visitors were all quick friends to make. Great spot!
The best part about this resort is how small it is. With only 40 rooms, it's quiet and low key. A simpler alternative to the bigger resorts.
Overall we really liked this place!! Would have given 5 stars, but it was pretty remote and the food was really expensive and not that great! The bread is AMAZING!! The burgers are great, but everything was pretty pricey!
We loved working with Janira at the dive shop!! She was so genuinely nice and really helpful. We also went our snorkeling at Mexico Rocks with AC Junior who was a fabulous guide and showed us some amazing things.
Things to know, there isn't a "beach" that you can just go swimming off of. The kayaks are great, but the marine reserve is right in front of the resort, and you aren't allowed to kayak there. The hotel was really vague about where we could go and we got kicked out of an area by the marine police! So make sure you make them literally show you where you are allowed to go.
We recommend taking the water taxi to town and hitting up the grocery store that saved us some money!! Don't do the grocery delivery!! Very over priced!
The rooms were great! The bed was amazing!!! The staff was very nice and the pools were great!!
We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our honeymoon. The resort has about 40 rooms, a restaurant, pool, and on site tour company. The food at the restaurant was excellent and we stayed here for most meals. The resort was very well kept and quiet, staff was very helpful and polite and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The resort is quite a ways from San Pedro (6.5 miles) so it is a little difficult to get into town. If you want a variety of restaurants or nightlife then this might not be your best choice for a resort but it was perfect for us and we'd definitely return.
