Very good food, great atmosphere and location. Not sure if I'd have made it to Bird Isle on my own, but a local friend took me there for lunch. I had stewed chicken with rice & beans and potato salad, complemented with watermelon juice. Delicious! Nice big portion and I think my total cost was $14 Belizean.

If it's quality, authentic Belizean food you're looking for, Bird's Isle is the place to go. Beautiful layout, accompanied by the amazing view and excellent customer service makes this visit a must!

It was a great place to eat after walking around the streets under the sun. The climate was wonderful, the staff super attentive, the food was tasty and it matched the prices. But above all, the view is spectacular. Will definitely come back.

Casual drinking bar, out of most all we asked for and what we did order was not any good. I had bbq chicken and asked for grilled wings but they came to me fried. Not recommended to eatdrinks only.

Fried fish and coconut creme pie was excellent. Met the 80 plus year old owner who was a fixture at the bar in his hometown restaurant. Belize experience was fantastic with group tour of Rum factory and Bird Isle restaurant. Joseph, the tour guide made our Belize day trip enjoyable with his knowledge.

Great Bar Restaurant right on the Gulf. Good beer and great food. Attentive staff and reasonable prices. Hard to get to though.

Quiet restaurant on the ocean. Secluded from the rest of Belize city and felt safe. Weds is $3 burger night. Tasty food and a nice view. Recommended by a local.

The food is great and very reasonable. The atmosphere is laid back. There is karaoke on Thursday evenings, so it my get a little crowded. If you just want to enjoy the cool sea breeze with a nice meal or a drink, this is a great place.

Terrible service REALLY terrible (And I'm a local).
If you're linking for food but don't have time on your hands? Dont come here, if you're like me you'll get frustrated to the point of leaving after waiting an hour for a measly Chicken Burger. Not to mention the Burger wasn't even on par; and even after waiting soon long, I GOT THE WRONG ORDER (I asked for a Grilled Chicken Burger, they gave me Fried, and even wrote that on the receipt that was written, BEFORE the burger was made). Now note, they've always been known for this, but personally I hadn't been to the place as of late and its not far from where I work so I said "Why not?". After today I don't even wanna guess how long making a drink takes. All in all, I'm never setting foot in that restaurant again, mainly because I literally don't have the time to sit and wait all day long for food.response / report this review -
