What a great surprise. This place was recommended by all the locals and rightfully so. It would be easy to miss it in the middle of this small residential area. Make the effort to find it! Wonderful local food at great prices and ambiance that you will remember long after you leave.
Really nice place to relax, plenty fans to go around! Food was really good.

taste, service, atomosphere and price
Taste: pretty good, but nothing amazing. Salbutes we're just ok. My wife had chicken, solid cooked but the beans were awful.
Service: just ok, came by maybe once after we had our order
Atmosphere: quite good, it's at the top of a hill in a neighborhood. Plenty of street parking on the road. There is nice artwork decorating the place. It's all outdoor under a patio. Plenty of fans to keep cool.
Price: on par with the rest of San Ignacio. Seee menu for prices
The food was very good, the staff were doing double time to keep up with groups of people off the buses. Our guide said the food had the local flavor, I have no doubt he was right.
This place was so good I made my bf take me 4 times before we left the area! Food was AMAZING!!!!!!
Really great food! Some of the best we’ve had in Belize. A good spot to catch some shade, a nice breeze and a good meal on a hot day.
Was a very nice place to eat! Food was good and waiting time was normal. Service is great. It's outside so you have nature at your fingertips.
Great place for local flavor, both in food and atmosphere. Ate there twice, everything I tried was delicious. Corn tortillas were fresh and chewy, vegetables are fresh and portions are huge. Highly recommended!
Nice place to take the family to go out and eat. They also have some games and area for the kid's to play.
Benny's breakfast was my fav meal all trip! For 12BZ we got eggs and sausage, with beans and avocado and mini fryjacks. And the fresh watermelon juice was to die for. Wish I could eat this everyday! We also had a dinner there and it was great and very food value.
Great food especially the pibil, great atmosphere n kids friendly. Offers a variety of local cuisine to choose from at the right price. The staff is friendly n courteous..à enjoy every time à come here
Nice place, good food at very correct price
Great food, good atmosphere, friendly staff.
Delicious food! Low key atmosphere
Great food and even better price. Try the local maya/mestizo dishes
Good eat after visiting the Mayan ruins. I had the pork, which is cooked underground for 24 hours.
Convenient restaurant after visiting Xunantunich. The owners are smart to post several signs near the ferry dock that leads to the restaurant 5 min away. It's a big restaurant with all outdoor seating. Food is basic Belizean and some gringo classics. Full bar along with some tropical fruit smoothies. Prices are about average with friendly service.
We had the fried fish and rice and their house specialty Pibil (slow-roasted pork). Both tasted good but nothing special. They have many fans around the restaurant so if you feel hot or didn't bring bug spray request a fan near your table.
Delicious local food at great prices. Places fr the kids to play and WiFi.
Several people recommended trying this restaurant and we are SO glad we did. Authentic local food at its best! We tried several dishes and all were amazing.
Great local food in great outdoor atmosphere. If you are here and like meat definitely try the dish Pibil a kind of local pulled pork.
Nice Belizean food, friendly people, clean and cool spot just to hang out for a bit.
The number one restaurant in Cayo district, local delightful food. I tried the rice & bean, drew chicken acompanied with both vegetable salad & potato salad.Finger liking food.
The Pibil is amazing. It was my first time having it, but it tasted delicious.
The food is just.. You know, scrumptious! With surrounding trees and located in the middle of a rural village you get a different atmospheric feel.
A very nice place. Family friendly during the day.
Great place to eat lunch after visiting Xunantunich! Try the chicken empanadas as an appetizer as they are excellent! Must order the cow foot soup; a Belizean dish that is excellent if you want to taste the local flavor! Wash it down with a Belikan beer and you can yourself a local!
Great option if you're near the border and need some filling grub! The pumpkin pie was quite a treat :-). Only disappointment is the huge array of options on the menu only available during the weekends. But maybe it's a demand (or, more aptly, lack of it) issue :-)
