The castle is well preserved, old an important to Lithuania. But the museum is terrible, both infrastructure and the whole second floor, talking about the 'great history of Communism'.

Well, pros of castle were the artist who was playing music when you come in to the castle, near gates (gives felling that you go in to the 15th century) and the landscape view from the outside of the castle. Inside exposition is like nature/history/USSR museum, quite far from the castle experience, rather disappointing.

Побывав в замке, можно ощутить всю мощь и силу старинного замкалестницы, стены, бойницы.
Богатая экспозиция, жаль только почти неизменна, как было лет 20 так мало, что изменилось с тех пор. Время и отсутствие денег дают о себе знать - замок приходит в упадок и разрушается. Посещение музея займет около 2-х часов. Советую всем сходить и почувствовать как жили короли в замках. А вид какой вид на Неман со стены! Всем туристам посещение этого значимого для Гродно места обязательно! Столь низкая оценка - только за бездействие властей по реставрации замка и организации управления им.

The castle is pretty good itself. There are a lot of beautiful views here to the city, to the river and parks.
Very rear you can see some performance here (actually never saw myself).
The museum inside is not so good and not about the castle in general. You can find here just common exhibition about different history and archeology periods and some material about Belarus, USSR times also.

Very interesting museum. Wide national exposition that covers the history of the place from ancient times to the Soviet period. This exhibition is not only about history but presents local flora and fauna too. It is highly recommended to visit.
