Tlokweng Border Control ( Botswana)

  Botswana border post before going to South Africa. Please note that if you are travelling by car you will need to clear this post and then upon entering South Africa there is another post to get SA clearance. Building was modern and service was quick. The only thing is upon departing this post border official required customs clearance for car do we had to go back to the building to get form stamped before our car was allowed to move into South Africa. In Botswana folks are very friendly and it reflected on border officials as well.

  Not so helpful nor friendly staff. The staff here are not interested as such to give explanation to people who don't know. There it's up to you to ask questions in order for you to know what next from one counter to the next.

  Went on a day trip to South Africa yesterday and thought that our 1-hour wait to leave Botswana was bad. Little did we know we'd be waiting for 4+ hours to get back into Botswana on the way back! Most of this time was spent in a seemingly unmoving line. I wish I could leave 0 stars.

  Friendly Customs and Immigration staff. Commercial vehicles,, bus, and combis come through this border post so expect delays in being processed. Non citizens are to complete an immigration form which is captured into system.
