  Basic accommodation in chalets overlooking the Limpopo River. Lovely & relaxing, can do short bush walks in the area. Despite not seeing many animals we had a good weekend

  Complete freedom in unspoilt bushveld. Caring staff. Plenty of game. Clean, comfortable rooms. Inexpensive tariffs. What's not to love?!

  We had such a lovely relaxing stay we took the game drive but also did a self drive and walk through the Bush. They have camping as well as self catering lodges

  We had a stay of one night last week. That was a wonderful experience to stay in a lonely place in the bushes with all facilities like electricity, Fridge, hot water, self catering kitchen and the game drive either on camp's 4*4 or by our own car. we were free to walk or drive in the reserve between the giraffes, zebras, impalas, water bucks, bush bucks, etc Staffs were very friendly also. We did enjoy the stay.

  Incredibly good value for money. A simple, homely atmosphere, making the best of old but spotlessly clean original farm buildings with mosquito nets over super-comfortable beds, top quality linens, steaming hot showers and warm, sincere hospitality. Gourmet standard meals available if you pre-book. You are permitted to game drive in your own vehicle, there are many birds and mammals to be seen, including gemsbok, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck, jackal, hippo, impala, eland, brown hyena, zebra, etc. Good fishing on the Limpopo River. Freedom to roam and day dream and observe unspoilt nature in peace and privacy. Gentle, caring staff and a beautiful, uncommercialised wilderness area.

  Lovely secluded campsite on the bank of the Limpopo, with open-air shower and toilet. Wood is provided for heating the water and for the brai. Great birdwatching (on foot) even during dry season (August). Very friendly and helpful manager improvised to get us something for lunch and she can prepare delicious hot chocolate! We stayed two nights instead of one. Besides camping they offer gorgeous accommodation but not in our budget range.

  I had an overnight there, that included a nighttime game drive. The drive was really underwhelming, but it was something to do at least. The bathroom facilities for campers are really limited - two shower/toilet rooms for the whole of the camp.

  Io ed i miei amici (Nomad Tour) abbiamo alloggiato nel campo sulla riva del fiume che divide Botswana e Sud Africa. Location angusta ma caratteristica sulla riva del fiume. Personale gentile alla reception durante la fase di registrazione. In questo campo c'era proprio l'essenziale, una cisterna d'acqua potabile, una zona per i l fuoco e la zona toilette. Null'altro. Sei proprio immerso completamente nella natura. A proposito nella sezione toilette, c'era una doccia con acqua calda, ma quando siamo arrivati io ed i miei amici abbiamo dovuto sistemarla perchè non scendeva acqua. Ci siamo arrangiati (e il bello dell'avventura è anche questo), ma quando si consegna una cosa, deve essere funzionante, "chiavi in mano" (piccolo appunto per i gestori) Parte toillette era doppia, uomini e donne con vista fiume, suggestiva ma allo stesso tempo discutibile, perchè si è molto esposti ad animali o simili, specialmente di notte.
  
  Camere davvero affascinanti immerse nella natura, per tutte le tasche e molte sono davvero belle. Molti lodge e chalet sono affascinanti e meritano molto!
  
  La mattina seguente, io ed i miei amici abbiamo effettuato un game drive nell'interno della riserva. Il ranger si è impegnato a cercare animali, ne abbiamo visti pochi. Pazienza, in ogni caso abbiamo visto molti paesaggi e alcuni animali (impala, zebre e pochi altri). In questo caso la fortuna conta molto. Servizio ok visto il costo.
  
  Commento finale: Che dire, la location è consigliata (anche se c'è qualcosa da migliorare), specialmente chi ama l'avventura, perchè si è immersi nella vera Africa e per chi ha lo spirito di guerriero, se si sceglie la parte camping. Affascinanti e incantevoli molti dei lodge che hanno più confort e li consiglierei per chi non vuole affrontare sfide o chi cerca pieno relax e pace tra la natura. Voto 7
