Best lodge by the river ever. it is quiet,beautiful and very tranquil. if you are up for camping no problem the option is available.The food is wonderful together with the people.Furthermore the rooms are clean ..there is nothing as beautiful as having breakfast with the cool breeze around you watching river horses swim.

What a location. I had a blast. The lodge gives you the holiday vibe, it helps you relax and be relaxed. I had a burger at the restaurant fantastic service and very fast.
You have a look out on the river, they have a jetti and offer boat rides on the river. They have rods and reels available for hire while you at the lodge you can fish from the bank.
I also saw crocs.

If you love nature that is the place to stay in Shakawe. You can do boat cruises, and it is close to the Samochima crocodile farm.The chef knows his job in the kitchen.

The chalets and camping site are lovely. Management are very helpful and the staff friendly. The bird life is something you should experience! Take a boat trip and appreciate the serene scenery along the Okavango river.
