  I bought a car through SBT Japan. The Car was supposed to be imported to Gaborone.
  I asked to the seller to have the confirmation that the car has all the original seats in leather as it was described, and he told me that there were all in the car.
  
  Once the car bought, the seller finally told me that a row of seats was missing. I then asked that the car comes with the row as it was described on the car description, and, after many emails they provided the missing row. It took almost 6 month to get the car in Gaborone and I had to pay additional charges to bring the car from Durban to Gaborone (initially they told me that the price was from Japan to Gaborone...)
  
  The car arrived with many issues: damaged in many places (bonnet, bumpers, ...), the seats were not in leather, part of the sound system stolen (probably in a combi now) and broken, motor pump leaking, key missing. And the car had more than 1000km more than when it left Japan (I just ask myself what they did with it)...
  
  I asked to be reimbursed from these issue. During 6 month SBT ensures me that I will be reimbursed. Then they stopped answering email.
  
  I strongly don't recommend them!!!!

  I do not recommend SBT Japan. We have had an extremely bad experience through them! We bought a vehicle. The vehicle was reserved, we received the invoice and we paid the invoice and sent the proof of payment. 30 minutes after sending the proof of payment, the sales rep then phoned us and informed us that the vehicle he has sold us and we had paid for, he sold it to someone else!!!!!! After much arguments, another vehicle was found but we had to pay in another USD$350! The vehicle was sold and advertised with a spare key as well as a diagnostic report stating the vehicle engine is in excellent running condition! The vehicle arrived and the aircon cluster unit was not working. The head lights were not working. And there was no spare key! We had to replaced the aircon cluster unit as this was not working. We then booked the vehicle into a Mercedes-Benz dealership for a full diagnostic. The vehicle has to have the timing chain replaced! The vehicle is now standing and not being used until this is repaired! The vehicle was advertised with low mileage of 49000km. This is not the true mileage of the vehicle. The mileage has been tampered with and turned back. A timing chain only needs to be replaced after a minimum of 120000km!!! We are now in the process of trying to get SBT to assist with the costs as they have sold us a vehicle under false advertising!!! I strongly suggest you consider other dealers before using SBT! PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!
