That’s why Grant Thornton, Business Botswana and Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) are collaborating to present the third annual Private Business Growth Award. This prestigious business award recognises privately-held businesses in Botswana that approach growth from both a strategic and a holistic perspective to create a positive impact well beyond their bottom line and contribute to a strong and vigorous national economy.

The Private Business Growth Award recognizes local businesses / groups with growth strategies that encompass a broad range of activities across their business: product and service development, expansion into new domestic or international markets, development of people and culture, improvements in efficiency, improvements in stakeholder relations, improvements in financial measures or governance, contribution to social development and leadership through a combination of business acumen and instinct.

To be considered for the award, companies must complete an application form in full detail and attach any relevant media clippings, supporting documents, etc. Submission materials will not be returned, and incomplete or late submissions will automatically be disqualified. Entries must be received by 15 August 2017.
