Big spacious chalets with outdoor shower, restaurant on-site, but very limited selection for vegetarians
I loved the food their customer service is also at a good level
Pelican lodge had expierenced water problems in the past.
Please mske surecthat they have water.
Nice place but has the potential to be much better.
A fire has recently destroyed the main kitchen and some of the rooms but their alternative dining area is great and the quality of the food is still top notch.
They could improve on maintenance (our first rooms didn't have electricity and one of the new ones didn't have a fridge. And the pool was green due to lack of a reliable source of water).
They have apparently have 2 boreholes so hopefully this will make things run smoother.
Still a great place and will definitely visit again.
relatively big, a little bit like a hotel, but extremely friendly staff. Had dinner there with a lot of different local food including some dishes with Mopane worms etc., very interesting :-)
Service was good.employees courteous.
Clean and naturally beautiful place in Nata.
Best place away from home but alwys feel at home
Clean and good service but water goes off regularly and its noisy as on main road.
Dinner special. Rooms great.
Best lodge experience i had in botswana
Very good establishment and all staff very friendly and helpful.
Very nice. Has wide range of accommodation. A good time of the year to go is August
Poor, poor state of maintenance and non existent customer service! Manager Ronnie is extremely arrogant and totally unwilling or unable to do his job in providing customer service. Swimming pool not working, aircon not working, everybody just refers customers to managers, who is unable or unwilling to help with problems, although manager Surprise is at least understanding and promises to help, although he doesn't. Manager Ronnie should not be allowed anywhere near customers. Ever. They did their best to RUIN our holiday and we were forced to cancel our reservation with them due to their lack of management and lack of maintenance. at which point Ronnie refused to refund us.. I alerted Safari to this and requested that I be reïnbursed the deposit which I paid to Safari before it is being paid out to Pelican Sands, but to this day I have not had a response from Safari even. Bad, bad, bad, bad service all around
Stopped for lunch. The fish and chips along with the Greek salad was good.
Camping visitors are definitely the bottom of the food chain! Campsites were not well prepared - fireplaces in disrepair. Lacked shower curtains so ablution areas flooded. Reception made one feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Visit again? I don't think so!!
