  Boiler: 4x150MW ultra high pressure CFB boiler manufactured under the cooperation between WUXI Huaguang Boiler Co., Ltd. and German LENTJES Company. IT uses LURGI technique and is equipped with external Fluidized Bed Heat Exchanger (FBHE).
  
  Turbine: The steam turbine is manufactured by DONGFANG TURBINE CO., LTD, super HP, primary reheat, double-casing and double-exhaust, direct air-cooling condensing turbine. The designed rated power is 150MW, and the maximum is 160.933MW

  Morupule -B Power station is the largest Power station in Botswana with plant size of 4x150MW coal fired power station.The power station is commissioned in the year 2014 by the chinese company CNEEC. The Power station is being run by German Multinational Company called STEAG Energy services with major work force from India.

  Electrical: 4 generators with 150MW capacity, which use generator-transformer unit wiring mode and are connected with new 400kV outdoor power distribution bus in the plant, 4-wire outgoing lines. A main transformer and a HV auxiliary transformer are equipped for each unit. Two HV station transformers are set for 4 generators and the power supply is from 400kV outdoor power distribution bus
