Malete Land Board jurisdictional area cover four villages; Ramotswa, Taung/Boatle, Mogobane and Otse.

Ramotswa is the District Headquarters of the South East District and this is where we are located. Ramotswa is along the border with the Republic of South Africa. it is located approximately 32 kms south of Gaborone City and 59 north of Lobatse town

  PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

  The public is informed that Malete Land Board will conduct a public auction sale of unserviceable stores on the 30th October 2019, 0900 Hours, at Malete Land Board offices.

  Condition of Sale:... 1. Items shall be sold in lot numbers to the highest bidder. 2. Prospective bidders shall pay a refundable deposit of BWP P100.00 for all unserviceable items. The money will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to pay for the goods bided for: Showing of receipt shall be a requirement during auction sale. 3. Payment must be by cash or bank guaranteed cheque. 4. Goods shall be paid in full and removed from the Land Board premises immediately after sale and Land Board will not be liable for neither loss no damage and safety of the sold goods. Items which are not removed from the Land Board premises within 7 days from day of auction will be forfeited by the Land Board to recover handling and storage costs. 5. The Land Board shall have discretion to dispose goods that are not collected by bidders. 6. Goods will not be released to the buyer until full purchase price has been paid. 7. Items are sold as in their conditions stand without warranty expressed or implied. 8. The Land Board Reserves the right to withdraw any item from Sale. 9. Being the highest bidder implies that the buyer has the obligation to pay land board and the land board obliged to release the goods. 10. Items can be viewed two days before the date of auction.
