A heritage type lodge in the countryside with great budget options. The USP are the owners Mr David and Mrs Neo who are extremely helpful.. The place is in countryside a little away from Kasane center but commuting options are easily and pleasantly arranged by the hosts who, by the way, help in arranging a myriad of activities for any guest.. Boat cruises, game safaries, Victoria fall trips, crocodile park, caracal, etc can be arranged from the lodge itself. Rooms are simple but very ethnic with all basic necessities taken care of. Breakfast options are simple and are available on prior request, which by the way in my experience here was extremely appetising Overall nice cozy place wherein the staff make u feel comfortable with homely atmosphere and very helping approach.

Warm, friendly hosts, arrange any activity here, and ask to go to Senyati to see the elephants at night!

I admit I had reservations as we drove through the township to find it, and it's more Kazangula than Katsane but after three nights in this little gem all reservations dissipated.
Our room was very clean and comfortable, with enough hot water for the shower. We had an evening meal, which by our request, was the traditional pap and gravy, and a couple of breakfasts, all of which whilst simple were well cooked and presented. There are lots of quirky corners to sit and relax and the communal kitchen is fully kitted out. But what really makes Elephant Trail are the staff who are warm and friendly and really go the extra mile to make you welcome! Nothing is too much trouble, including transport and organising game drives etc. I left feeling happy to be one of the Elephant Trail family!
